Thanks. Some LLs require a minimum of 40 pics per freesite. Score-cash provides content sets with only 16 pics, so I have to create minimum 3 galleries to cover 40 pics requirement.

Or do you mean, I should add more galleries?

100K rule is, indeed, something I missed. Are we talking about strictly below 100K here or it can be near 100K (115K e.g.) ?

I'm not a Nazi about 100K but when I see 130K I fidget. Some yokels are still on dial up and if an image takes too long to load they might get frustrated and back out.

You have 12 images/gallery and that's the most that I know of that are required. Don't want to give away too much ya know.

Not sure how many LL still have this rule but IMO it should be removed at least few years ago. At the times 20sec video weigh 2-3mb and most of us require few of those you must admit this rule is plain stupid |crazy|

I'd like to know if anyone cares anymore.. sure I agree we shouldn't go crazy but I belive 200-300kb should be acceptable - most times 200kb will be enough to have 1024x765 crisp clear

I agree. If you take a few seconds in Photoshop or Gimp or whatever, you can easily create clear images that aren't exceptionally heavy. I can't stand reviewing grainy over-optimized images. It's not even worth my time. Webmasters aren't keeping up with the technology and quality that many sponsors are pushing and therefore not representing them to the best of their abilities. The "under 100kb" rule is soooo 2006.

Any LL that has an under 100kb rule I'm going to avoid like the plague, even if you are on dialup, tough shit. If you are on dialup and it loads too slow and you back out, what the hell is that surfer going to do when he signs up for a paysite? Sit there twiddling his thumbs because of the high quality content.

I see many rules on LL's that seem to be seriously outdated, same as the one that specifies that content must originate from the same directory as the freesite in question. Suppose I have 3 servers, 1 of which serves all my static content and I build a freesite on www.somesite.com and my content for it comes off content.somesite.com, it tends to not get listed for, in my eyes, no apparent reason. Unless someone can explain that one to me... :D

I can understand people having dial-up as a backup or while traveling, but as their primary? I've been on cable broadband for almost ten years now.

I suppose these might be the same people who still use 800x600 screen resolution, and if so, how likely is it that these people would pay for porn memberships? I'd suspect that the probability is low.

Personally I think the two vs three gallery argument is most often debated just for the sake of debate. I have used both with decent results both ways.

I think the sites look pretty good. Nice and clean. I'd list them with 2 or 3 galleries. As mentioned I'd maybe switch up how the templates are from time to time as to not get into a rut with the same look everytime out. Otherwise , overall, they look very acceptable.
