We have puppies!
 

Yes the puppies finally arrived but only two of them. This is the smallest litter in all the years of breeding German Shepherds we have ever had |huh This is really a shame because we have a waiting list of 7 people...oops :D But that's ok as we have 1 male and 1 female and both are big and healthy and Zoey is fine |thumb

two sounds easier to handle than a whole bunch, though lol. I grew up with a German Shepherd too, they're one of the few dogs I'd maybe think of getting :D

They are beautiful! Up until getting Gaston (the Red-poodle that my wife bought me for Christmas) we have always had Shepherds, they are awesome family pets!

My friend's family like to deal with dogs in the way to buy them,grow them in nice conditions,and then bring to some contests to sell them at a high price.They are happy as they adore those dogs,but they are tortured all year round by the doggies' health problems.That's awful.And besides,I can't get it how one can love dogs and then sell them,and buy new ones again and again

We do it different than that. We keep our dogs till they pass away from old age. We also only breed them when we know we have good people that want them and they get them at 8 weeks. I could never give away my female dog she will be here till she passes on. Even at 8 weeks it's hard to see them go |cry|

Thanks for all the good words everyone! The puppies have doubled in size in just a week and Zoey is a great Mom. The only problem I'm having is staying out of the pen and getting any work done...:D
