Good Eary Saturday Morning
 

At 5 AM my eyes just popped open and I was up. Probably going to bed at 8:30 didn't help much but, I still expected to sleep a little later :)

Off to a few car sales later this afternoon and I have a lasik seminar later tonight. I am thinking I may just finally do it. I have been wearing glasses since I was 3 years old. I have no idea what it would be like to fall asleep watching TV or even waking up and being able to see a clock. Not to mention the swimming thing :)

Nothing special today, work and work some more, I hope some sales are coming soon, so far I have been making about 5 cents an hour.|cry|

Today I'm finishing up pulling together a lot of stats and background info for some sites, and once I'm all done with that I'm going to relax and enjoy the weekend.

Off to sell some bears to the raging Chicago fans decending on Vegas over the next 8 days. Where do you go when you can't get Superbowl tickets? Why Vegas, of course.

The first Coast parade of the season rolled last night in Diamondhead... 22 more to go.Weather today is calling for rain, so we'll probably skip the parade in Ocean Springs today, but have time to get fired up for next weekend's festivities. Throw me something, Mister!

Hope everybody is doing good. Been so damn busy lately with new job, trying to keep my business going and working on new projects.

Took the day off yesterday and went dirt bike riding with my son. When we got home we watched The Worlds Fastest Indian which he recommended. It was a great movie and just a great day!

Wish all the best and may the sales gods keep smiling on us all.

It's a bit chilly this morning. I guess I should go turn the heat on and make the espresso but my ass feels too good planted here in my office chair.

No real plans for today other then the usual making of the porn and continuing quest of self indulgences.

Good Morning All!

On the agenda today is fix the plumbing in our garage. We had turned off the water when it got real cold, but didn't drain the lines like idiots, and when we turned on the water yesterday we found we cracked a pipe. Oh joy. At least the walls are not finished yet, so it should be easy to fix. :D

After that, we are doing some yardwork. Transplanting some rose bushes which should be fun, and working on the greenhouse. It is supposed to be in the 60's today so should be nice day for it.

Tonight, I'm taking MadHatter out to dinner for his birthday, and give hime some other gifts too. :D

ugh...ended up in the emergency room with my gf at 2 this morning. She's having an allergic reaction to something (we've narrowed it down to 3 possibilities). Poor thing was uncontrollably itching, welts coming up in spots...very unpleasant. After in IV cocktail of various drugs, she seems to be a bit better today.

Time to get a little work done...

OMG good luck to her! Hopefully you can figure out what it is, so she can avoid that in the future. I've had that kind of reactions too, of all things to two different antihistimines, they are no fun. Glad she is feeling better.

Well just got my daughter and grandson moved out once again |loony| I had a long talk with her and now that she is engaged I told her she needs to stay put. So today I'll be getting my office back |bananna| I sure have missed it.

Hope your gf feels better soon Mr Yum! My daughter has been threw that a few times and it's no fun.

Jim, I did the lasik surgery thing about 13 years ago. I'm sure they've improved upon it since those days but I gotta tell ya that I don't regret it one little bit. The first few days will be trying though. I remember taking demorol for the pain and thank goodness for that but that was to be expected because afterall, it is eye surgery. I'm not sure if they still give you the 'eye drops' but I remember having to take a daily regimen of drops for the about a week. The morning was the worst time of all because your eyes are so raw but by the third day, all was good and everything came into focus - I almost didn't even notice it right away! I suggest that once you do decide to go for it, make sure you are relaxed for those first few days - your gonna need it. Do exactly as you're required and in no time at all you will feel like a new man.
