I almost puke when I open...
an email from FlashCash. I have nothing against the program but really. Are they in the music business or the porn business?
I will stop bitching because that is where I met GG and Jim. Is Hal Jim's son? :D |

Chop, for a program as "aged" as flashcash, they have to work hard to stay nearer the top of the heap. Hal and Tassy have certainly brought much more top of the mind awareness to a group of webmasters that might not otherwise have looked at the program. It is actually quite successful, but like and schtick, it can be pushed too far. My feeling is that Hal and Tassy are borderline on become caractures of themselves.
They are quite a bit past promoting the flashcash product, and are all the wya off to promoting themselves. The program is becoming more and more of an afterthought in the game. I can't badmouth flashcash, I have been with them forever, and I still get a trickle of income from them. Alex |
Their "newsletter" (and I use that erm very loosely) has made me physically ill for the last few months.
If they want to plug some silly music CD once, great. But it's this ongoing thing that the "newsletter" is pretty much their personal blog with very little actualy news. Pink hair, music CD, Burning Man, big tits...WE GET IT! |
Ever the marketing professional, I would be remiss if I didn't point out the fact that, from a purely business sense, I would love to tug Tassy's pretty pink pigtails while slamming that sweet ass. I love the combination of geeky eye glasses and an expensive tit job too.
In other words, their newsletters evoke the response of "I'd hit that". |
I would comment but I really can't :)
I think I have enough already. That was truly the only job I was fired from. The reason for being fired, my newsletters and techniques were too controversial. Of course, before me, the FC website looked like it was made in 96, there was no newsletter, there was no board, they had no deal with MrSkin and they were about 5000 webmasters shy of what they had when i left. I think I worked there for about 8 months. |

and FTR i think i'd rather get a CD from an industry DJ with a naked chick on it than a pen with an affiliate program name on it any day for swag. |boobies| |

I don't believe I said those things. Must've been an imposter, or worse, my wife, that made that post. I'm far too genteel to make such tawdry remarks.

I am still feeling ill!

I almost barfed on the font color ;)

I never get to see that newsletter. It comes to an address I check with Eudora and that email client does not like their method of constructing html mailings so it displays them only as source code, even disabling the "open in browser" button usually available. I let them know about it but no changes were ever made to correct the bad coding problem.
I once copied the html code to my text editor and opened it in my browser from there to see what the newsletter was about. I never bothered doing that again. I do like big-titted, pink-haired geeky girls with great asses as much as the next guy (maybe more), but I wasn't going to jump through those hoops to see the newsletter. |
two things to add to this..
Tassy Rocks--and her little dog too--gotta love a girl who isn't afraid of pink.. |roses| Hal is full of himself and that isn't just because of girl power.. I’m on his blog roll and his photo account and he makes Ron Jeremy narcissistic tendencies pale pink in comparison. as far as their newsletter.. i'm with Chop.. I really try to only go over there when i'm desparate to fill in some catagories.. which of late ARS and SunnyDollars has been serving the purpose. |
No one cares (even if they did, they stopped carring about 12 months ago)

Have flashcash gone bad now or is this just down to personal issues?
I've noticed their forum is dead now and don't see alot of their sites promoted anymore. The old workshops on there were fairly good with Jim, greenie, tommy etc but it seems everything about flashcash is a thing of the past. |
