ok..I will come out of the closet and admit I have been watching this stupid INXS rockstar thing since day one..
And I can not believe that the contestants they found were the best of the best in this whole country !@!@!@!

It's become an obsession and I have to know which one wins..

I find the singing to be much better than what you hear on shows like American Idol. But then again, I do have a preference toward "Rock"

I can't believe winning a chance to sing with INXS is considered a big thing. Reality TV is getting dumber and dumber. Give me escapism, I have plenty reality every day.

Reality TV is our escapism! It shows me that so many people have it worse off than us! ;)

I love that show!! I've been watching it since the beginning. It has some great music on it and some great talent. I like Mig (sp) Him on the piano this week was awsome! Not to mention the fact he hot as hell to look at!! I hope he wins the whole thing!!

You know he will win it..He's the only Aussie contestant!! :)
And he's far superior to the rest, imho..and a cutie pie too.

Yeah worse then us thats for sure. Anyone see that new show I think on lifetime. Where these two older ladies from the UK go an clean peoples houses? God I saw that the other night and just freaked. Some of the people in this world. How in the hell can you live in a place that has roches, flies and animal shit all over the place? These people just leave that stuff for months. If I ever went in a house like that I would just look the people square in the face an tell to never invite me over again and leave. But the show is great. Forgot the name tho.

JD Fortune is my cousin (his grandmother and my mother are first cousins, I don't know if that makes me and him 3rd cousins?). I haven't seen him in person since I was 6 or 7 but he's been here visiting recently. Some members of our family have taken recent pics of themselves with him. My aunt even bought a DVD recorder so she could tape the INXS show he's on.

Why is it named INXS? When I saw the thread I thought it was about the band from Oz.

It's a reality television show where a bunch of people compete to replace the former front man of INXS.

Yep, back in 1997, Michael Hutchinson hung himself, supposedly while practising auto-asphyxiation (the practise of choking oneself at the moment of orgasm).

It is the band from Australia. After the death of Michael Hitchinson in 1997, INXS disbanded. They want to reunite, and are looking for a new front man/woman. I guess they felt the television exposure would give them a kick-start for their careers.
