Hi, just call me a newbie but what does pr5 or pr4 ect. mean?
I guess it got something to do with your page rank in the search engines but how do I find my pr?

IMO it means a whole lot less then what some would seem to believe.

I use http://toolbar.google.com/ and http://download.alexa.com/index.cgi?p=Dest_W_b_40_T1 on all my computers

Both provide me good info while on the web.

Redcow - dont get too obsessive about the PR - although some would have you believe it's the end-all to how you rank in the SEs - it really means nothing nowadays. It hasnt been updated in some time, and there is even some that think it's purposely being shown incorrectly to throw off those people that are trying to optimize for Google.

If someone bases a trade request with you on PR, or they offer to sell you a link with a certain PR - I would advise you to run the other way :)
