Saturday May 20th - The Calm
 

It's been a wild day here.... my husband's parents live in a small town about a half hour from here, where he also grew up. They were grocery shopping this morning and noticed a large fire, right across the street. A whole business complex is still burning, nearly 14 hours later. It has even made the national news here. Check the local article. You won't be able to read it much better than I can, but scroll down the page and check out the drone footage from this afternoon. Earlier today, it was just smouldering, but then burst back into flames again. The building is going to be a complete loss, displacing a discount store, a restaurant/bar, and a couple of offices.

AND... CANADA WON!! They beat the Russians!!! (IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships). Let's see if our luck holds in about an hour as Finland meets Sweden. I would almost kill to win this game.

My team beat the opponent 2-0 and now we're even more ahead on the table. Bad match though, even my dog was bored .... :-p

So fuckin' tired. So I'll take this weekend off and come back strong next week.
