Anyone from Epassporte Around????

I emailed about disputing a charge 2 days ago.

After 24 hours I got no response, so I emailed again just to ask how long it would take before I got a reponse about disputing a charge.

Now it's over 24 hours again. No response.
So I decided to call..... the line is busy and has been the last 10 times I tried to call.

WTF?

Hit up Keyser Soze on ICQ: 95-431-302

Jim 2007-01-26 12:44 PM

I see there customer support is as good as always. :) The weakest link in the epassporte chain.

Something I am curious about. Obviously we are not the only people that notice epassporte's CS sucks. Why not take some money, train some real CS representatives and go from there? Almost all the problems that we see about epassporte is because of their CS, right? Is it really that hard to fix it?

digifan 2007-01-26 01:02 PM

Sent the url to Linda and Keyser... sorry but cannot call them for you Dr B ;)

Dr Bizzaro 2007-01-26 01:33 PM

I talked to Keyser Soze via ICQ.

I didn't realize they had a "We do not get involved with disputes" policy, over at Epassporte. I guess it pays to read the small print.

He said they would look into the account to see if anyone had logged complaints against it and possibly terminate it.

I will continue trying to get a hold of these guys.

I was just going to post something about epassporte myself, gee, I'm not the only one...lol I'm just trying to get my CV@ code for the virtual visa. The Faq's say it's in the weclome message in the message area and those never get deleted. Well mine is not there. Probably with all the changes, it got lost. I sent a request from my account and same thing, no reply for a few days now at least. And ya, busy signal on the phone.

Has any one got the visa/debit/atm card to work on line? Every place I try, wont go through. So I am guessing the virtual is for online buys. Course hard to use without the CV2 code.

On a side note, I have never been about to use my Epassporte on line, like a credit card. I have tried about 6-10 times and it got rejected every time.

Has anyone been about to? If so...where?

troy 2007-01-26 01:58 PM

This is hilarious, I also wanted to post a thread.
I try to contact Epassporte for 2 weeks!!!!! through the message center.
I have send 3 emails sofar but no reply. I also called international earlier this week but there was no one there because of weather conditions (???) today I tried again but now they put me on hold for 5 minutes so I hung up.

I get the creaps at the thought someone gets hold of one of my cards and there is no one to reach immediately.
I am in the process to cash all my money, I don't want more than $200 dollars there.

I love Epassporte but this is creazy.

Hi Dr Bizzaro,
I use it quit often use my virtual card to buy content(club extreme) I pay my host with it every month. I pay my books which I buy trough a dutch internet company.
But sometimes I also get rejected.

Keyser Soze 2007-01-26 02:35 PM

I apologize for the delay in getting an answer from CS.
Our call/email volume increase ten fold over night we are hiring and training staff as quickly as we can to improve the response time.

If anyone have contacted CS and haven't receive a reply please email or ICQ me.

Thanks

Like Troy said, you have to use the virtual card, unless thats the one you are trying to use. I never tried it. Was going to start using it, but as I said, did'nt have my CVV2 code.

I do have to say I added Micheal to ICQ, he was offline, but got a reply in less than a half hour, and he had my problem solved in like 5 minutes. So I am good to go and he sure has good customer service...:)

Don't get me wrong. I've used it online to buy adult content, to pay other webmasters, for Party poker, etc...

I'm talking about if I wanted to shop at Amazon or just any other non-adult related online store.

I tried to buy various things on mainstream sites and it was rejected every time.

Chop Smith 2007-01-26 05:15 PM

Keyser Soze, please check you PMs.

ronnie 2007-01-26 06:24 PM

If any one cares, I placed an order with barnes and noble with my epassporte plastic atm card, of course that did'nt go through. I got an e-mail saying it did'nt work and had to call. Entered the virtual card info on the phone and did'nt work either. Got a rep on the phone, she entered it again and it worked just fine. So seems it might be sticky sometimes? Well it worked.

I like using your dime, so I PMed him about a problem that I have been trying to get resolved with Epassporte for 16 days. He got it corrected in less than two hours.

I am now convinced that Keyser Soze is the only hope for reliable tech support from Epassporte.

Remember that yummy thread? I don't think I would want to trust my affiliates' payments to be made via Epassporte. While Keyser sprung into action, it would be unacceptable to have my affiliate payments entrusted to someone that takes one week to respond to a message, identifies the issue and then take another to week to fix a simple problem within their system.

Nice new front end!

Thanks Keyser. You are their only hope. Or is their an alternative?

Qon 2007-01-26 08:05 PM

i'm sure u have considered this, keyser... but u guys should try hooking up with one of those indian or chinese outsourcing companies to handle support for you ;)

You have got to be kidding.

Qon 2007-01-27 08:24 AM

nope... i'm sure if one makes the right choice in a company that specializes in english support, it will work out fine. they must be doing something right, outsourcing is bringing them enough money to compete with the chinese

TopbucksTrixxxi 2007-01-27 09:31 AM

Dr.Bizzaro,
If Michael can't help you due to 'policy', please try contacting Shaliza and let them know what your beef is.

Michael is by far one of the hardest working support reps in the industry, possibly in mainstream and adult both. If they would bring him in to train the other nincompoops and make them 'employable' I think Epassporte would resolve 85% of their complaints. The way it is now, they have one person who takes the heat and cleans up the mess of an entire department.

All I'm saying is that they best be paying this guy his weight in gold! (Michael, I hope you're a little heavy ;) )

My experience is that people on Asian out-sourced help desks are more polite and try to help more that the rude, unhelpful assholes who work on local help desks. However since they both usually know bugger all about whatever it is you are asking about, they are both as useless as each other.

MonsterPartners 2007-01-28 10:37 AM

I had emailed epassporte on Tues (5 days ago) and I have yet to receive a reply, but I hit up Michael and he assisted me.

I tried their telephone support for a couple of days too but there was just a message saying they are unable to offer phone assistance because of the weather.

I agree with Trixxxi, get Michael in there to train their new reps. The guy does an amazing job.

Sorry, I should point out that this is a general comment on help desks NOT a comment on Epassporte. I forgot when I submitted that post that some people on this board will automatically assume it means otherwise.

jonnydoe 2007-01-28 08:54 PM

Wow that is just what I am looking for ;-0

Dr Bizzaro 2007-01-30 04:14 PM

Update:

Problem was solved. After Epassporte looked into it, I was able to get a hold of the company I had a problem with. They (the company I was trying to do business with) said it was a misunderstanding, but it's a bit too fishy to be a misunderstanding.

I doubt I will be buying anything more traffic from them in the future.
