I've been tinkering around with the main page on LOR, adding new sections & moving things around in an OCD attempt to have everything line up in a straight line across the bottom of the page |pokefun||greenguy|

Another OCD thing that I'm internally |banghead| is the name & order of the sections. Like the Greenguy's Cam Girls section really shouldn't be in the G's if I'm doing it in alphabetical order - maybe in the C's for Cam Girls or the W's for Webcams...it's a constant struggle being me :D

Still hearing back on the link trade requests I've been sending out. Traffic over the last 3 days has been normal, even up a little bit, which is great seeing as it's a holiday weekend |thumb

I'm uploading content to the members area and finalizing the tour design for what will be the new incarnation of OWAMW.

The members area uses the Smarty template engine, which is great because it can cache every page to speed up delivery. However, the original programmers didn't envision a site with 1,000 photo sets, so the pagination of the gallery pages was limited to Galleries Home, Previous Page, and Next Page. So, if you wanted to get from the first page of galleries, (each with 20 thumbs), to the last page, you'd have to click Next Page 49 times. I installed and dicked with the SmartyPaginate plugin to solve that issue, but it didn't get along with the custom plugin that creates the thumb tables. I scrapped the plugin and grabbed some normal PHP pagination code, beat up it up, and now pagination works wonderfully.

Over a week ago, I decided to re-encode all of the older movies to mp4 format. During testing, I found that I was having major unacceptable cross-browser issues. Chrome would play them beautifully, but didn't play the audio. Firefox played most of them as desired, but IE had mime type issues and pretty much told me to go fuck myself. Therefore, I am falling back to their original formats. It sucks because I know that certain mime types won't play on phones and do have browser issues. But it's better than having everything play on specific devices and not at all on others. All of the new movies are H.264 mp4's, that play superbly in my HTML5 player, so future updates should work great for everyone.

Very, very soon, I'll be able get the .htaccess and .htpasswd files from Ramster and then point the domain name to my server. Yay!

Use a video converter (Any Video Converter is good) to make them h264. If you need anything else let me know. I have unpublished photo sets I believe too I'll have to upload/get you.

"Greenguy's" should be treated like a definite article (like "the"). You would put "The Cam Girls" under "C" not "T", so put "Greenguy's Cam Girls" under "C"

(Oh, and if you want to put it under "W" you need to re-title it "Greenguy's Webcam Girls".)

I used a converter and the results seemed good until I tested them. :D

Good question, what AM I working on this week? Just finished a two-week long writing order on the weekend,
got my lawn sprayed for weeds yesterday, AND gave the car a quick wash.

Another writing project will start soon but in the meantime I think I'll do the unthinkable and take a few days off.

(*gasp*, the horror)

Just updated LOR & I'll probably go back to tinkering with the sections on my main page.

Also, yesterday was my 2nd highest day this month as far as "sessions" according to The Google Analytics. Seeing as it was a US Holiday, these trade requests I'm blindly sending out seem to be working |thumb

I poked :D Searched a couple things, got relevant results, nothing popped up when I played a vid, nothing tried to install itself on my system |lol| While I agree it is "nothing special", that itself is special these days |thumb

Well I think I got the theme for my tube sites responsive / mobile ready! :D

Hurray...

Now I just need to set the colors right to the other tube sites :)

Thanks :) I do hope it's relevant results, been messing about with ElasticSearch to store all the info in, it does allow for sickeningly easy searching... as far as popups/popunders/popanything goes, I won't have those on there. Hate them, so would be a bit hypocritical to have visitors subjected to them :P

I feel like I haven't done shit this week, except update. Gonna run the old Xenu link checker & go from there...

Finalizing a new concept of ranking any medium difficulty keyword in top 5 results (and beating tubes by a far shot). Took me almost one year to fine tune. Hope Google is not going to change shit before I can start monetizing next month.

Spent a couple hours yesterday importing links into about 25 spreadsheets. Tried it out today when I was adding links to update & I think I have a nice system started |thumb

It is a responsive website so it will look different on a mobile device than a laptop.

It's done in Wordpress using the theme Avada. It was pretty steep leaning curve but glad I learned it because just today one of my old clients told me that they want me to redo their websites responsive. I guess I'll be doing a whole lot more Wordpress sites using Avada. I both love and hate Wordpress.
