Creepy Cable Dude
 

I was out walking the goddamn dog tonight and, on my way back into the building, I noticed someone standing in the dark at the end of the building near someone's windows. I knocked on the door of the first floor apartment and asked if he knew who was standing outside of his windows. "I'm about to find out! Thank you."

I went ahead and walked the dog to where the guy was standing and asked him what was up. He looks like the Spectrum dude who lives on the second floor. He said, "I run these tests everyday." That was all.

Um, okay...

I go back and knock on the door again, and the tenant was calling the police. I told him the guy claims to be running tests.

What the fuck was that creep up to? Also, can a cable guy see what tenants are up to when he connects to the matrix?

I think I'm going to report him to the apartment overlords tomorrow. Even if he was doing something legitimate, it's pretty creepy to be standing next to someone's windows at night, especially when that apartment happens to have two teenage girls living there.

I'd also suggest contacting Spectrum, as long as you have an hour to wait to actually speak to a human when you call them|lol|

That was my thought. Whatever the hell he's doing cannot be legit at 9pm. My son does appreciate the blazing interweb speeds he gets on that roaring machine he has, but I'm a little weirded out by the whole situation.
