Saturday January 26th (aka The Blue Screen Of Death)

Got the old Blue Screen Of Death yesterday for the 1st time in many, many years. Started poking around after the 2nd one (4 total?) & tried a couple of the possible fixes. Currently performing a disk check which has said "scanning & repairing drive C: 16% complete" for about an hour or so. Apparently, it may or may not be doing something so I figured I'd give it til dinner. If it doesn't come back, I need to do some backups since Windows stopped doing them about a month ago for some reason |facepalm| and tomorrow, to Best Buy I'll go!

Right now, I'm on The Bitch's laptop which has to be 7 years old & hella slow. I am projecting it to the 2nd monitor & using my keyboard, so it almost feels normal. Then I need a file that's on my PC and I |banghead| I can do some work, so at least it won't be a complete waste of a day |thumb

Almost forgot...it snowed. Again |snowman2

Sorry to hear that Greenie and hopefully it will all go smoothly to get you set up again.

Last night was pretty good as it was a blues rock show from Reverend Guitars with a few of their key players performing.

Maybe going back to the trade show tomorrow but now it's biz work and bills all day.

When I was traveling, I used an old netbook hooked to a real monitor and wireless keyboard and mouse. I had my big desktop pc with me, but it sucked so much power, it would drain the batteries (solar) within a couple of hours. I bet I was the only guy in homemade camper in the desert optimizing movie files of old women fucking. |thumb (My PC is still in the camper out there in the desert.)

I slept well and long. Plus, I have been in a strangely good mood the last few days. It's disturbing. I thrive on being miserable.

PS - I think dogs fall asleep when they sit down because they don't drink coffee. It's the only thing that makes sense.

After a few good weeks, I woke up to some pain in my ear. I'd really like to put a pen in my ear canal and stab my ear drum. I won't. Oh yeah, my dog peed on the rug last night too. Good times.

I am out for most of day unfortunately. What I'd really like to do is sit on the couch and do nothing. So, this is the day I've been given.

Between 2 and 3 hours depending on traffic.

Scan disk failed. System restore to before the last Windows update is restoring |pray|

That where is my beloved rolling shed is in storage. I'm looking for someone much closer to check on it. :D

I intended on meeting up with a lot more people when I was on my walkabout, but I got sidetracked with my missing dog, then ran out of money and was forced to retreat.

PSHAW!! JustRobert LOVES throwing on a windbreaker, hopping in the convertible with the top down & taking long rides around Southern California! He'd be HAPPY to pop on over there 2 or 3 times a week for ya! |thumb

eeewww... BARSTOW!! It has to be one of the saddest armpit areas ever!! Up in the desert, eerily beautifu, desolate. It is almost like a giant truck stop stuck between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. I lived in Riverside for quite a few years, not that I will be going back that way ever. The last night I spent in California was in Barstow...
