Zangocash (for tgp submitters)

Hey everyone,

I'm using zangocash because they provide free porn videos.
These full videos are free for the users so they give a great conversion ratio.
Is there a best solution as watching video for free and making money ?
Even on small sites like this one:
"URL Removed"
it works great
(you can see on this page most of the porn videos)

They have all types of free adult and non-adult content that you can add to your site. All the content comes pre-wrapped in a monetization tool and they pay on per-install basis. I have never seen it before in the adult industry, but it has worked well for me so far.

I have found for it to be a great way to monetize my TGP users.

-What is the catch ?
there is no catch
- Is zango spyware ?
no zango is adware, and is easy to uninstall.
users can see targeted advertisements.
- Is zango hard to uninstall ?
No, however previous versions of zango where hard to uninstall because cheaters modified the software in order to install in the same time they backdoored you computer with real trojan.
See "zombie master arrested" in google.
(he bought a bmw)

Here is my link if you want to take a look:

Wondered if these fuckers had ever come up here at GG&J.

Been doing some reading on this crap over at the zoo. These fuckers aren't just screwing up surfers systems, they're also stealing sales |angry|

Apparently, an infested system has a db downloaded and attached to the browser. When a keyterm in the db is matched in the browser, a pop under is launched with a different affliate code...thereby overwriting your affiliate code. Being the 2nd (newer) affiliate code, the zango affiliate gets the sale...not YOU.

Opinions vary as to how widespread this is, but apparently it's spreading quickly. And zango is one of many malwares doing this shit. No wonder sales continue to drop |banghead|

Tvduijn 2006-10-09 12:35 PM

Damn, thats just complete crap....mostly because you cant fight it

neticule 2006-10-09 11:47 PM

This not only doesn't help...this is costing us all money.

The way the system works...sales are being directly stolen from the referring affiliate |angry|

Is this the Zango thing that's something to do with 180Solutions? A quick Google search led me to this page which is a long read, but does confirm that an infected computer can override affiliate codes and the Zango/180Solutions affiliates will get the credit for any sale.
Quote:

In my testing, 180 software specifically and systematically causes merchants' tracking systems to conclude that users reached merchants' sites thanks to 180's efforts, even when users actually reached merchants on their own or through other affiliates. As a result, merchants pay commissions to 180 even when no commission is properly payable (under affiliate program rules), i.e. when users reach merchants' sites without receiving bona fide recommendations from independent affiliate web sites. In addition, 180 causes merchants to pay commissions to 180 even when commission is properly payable to other affiliates -- who actually recommended, encouraged, and facilitated users' purchases from the merchants.

Zango and 180solutions is a plague! They steal your sales by poping up windows with their advertisers affiliate codes which overwrites your cookie.

This is how these scumbags deliver their traffic and they are stealing sales from all of us!

A guy at another board installed zango on his computer and this is what happens when he clicks the AFF link at hoes.

Gotta give credit to Will76 for not letting the topic drop...have to admit I only knew about the install crap, but didn't know about the stealing sales thing until he posted it.

KG Gary 2006-10-10 07:52 AM

Is there a specific removal tool out there, (like the one called CWShredder - created for that horrible CoolWebSearch thing), that would remove this zango shite from a surfer's computer but NOT erase all regular affiliates cookies etc?
Maybe link lists/tgps/everyone possible could link to such a tool and inform surfers that "you might be getting screwed by adware crap - remove it quickly here", or something.
Just a thought.

I wondered when something like this thing would be launched. Sparky mentioned that there is something new coming that will actually over write your ccbill affiliate code with theirs. Watch for posts by people wanting to sign up to any and all ccbill programs.

You and me both! I'd heard of stuff like this too, but had no idea how widespread it was (and getting worse by the day).

Completely agree...damn glad Will is pursuing this |thumb

From what I've seen so far, no...there is no single tool that will remove it. Apparently running several tools in sequence will do the job though. But, it is an arduous process that most home users wouldn't undertake.

That said, as soon as I can get to it and have done some more research...I will be posting some links on my main sites. Informing surfers that if they see pop ups or odd looking text links on the site, their systems are compromised. And providing links to removal tools.

Sadly Jim, from what I've seen so far...they're not the only ones doing this. And exactly as Sparky suggested, it's most likely going to get worse before it gets better |banghead|

All that said, this has given me a business idea I intend to exploit locally. Might as well make a few bucks removing this shit from friends/neighbors and their friends/neighbors computers. Kind of one way of getting some of my lost sales back. Unfortunately, it comes out of the end users pocket...but there's not much I can do about that.

Again, most end users aren't geeky enough to remove this kind of shit. Besides, it always feels good to give someone back a clean system...and get paid for it too :D

Jim 2006-10-10 11:37 AM

I think this thread is important but I also think the URLs needed to be removed. I have done that to protect the innocent :)

Tvduijn 2006-10-10 12:23 PM

I guess the only thing we can do is turn to the sponsors that are in their database. If they would disable the accounts that steal sales by this program it might help a bit. Wont cost the sponsors any sales since they are made anyway, they are only stolen by zango affiliates.

And if sponsors wont do anything against it...well, it might be better to stay away from them and they might take action.

Dont really know any other way of fighting this crap...

pornhitzman 2006-10-10 01:52 PM

If you see a drop in sales/ratios this month, donīt be surprised!

If I ever went to a site and landed in popup hell, I would never go back!
The fact that I can not even look at the Z-----cash website without my spyware detection program telling me it is a BAD place is not good.

Actually, I thought last month was bad...was the worst I'd seen in a long while. So far, this month is making last month look good.

Maybe the RR have finally found a way to drive us out of business :D

Wait a damn minute! That's not funny |banghead|
