My parents are older. We have to stay so I can look after everyone. I wish I could leave. We will probably go to a shelter when it approaches.

Buy lots and lots of batteries and flashlights. Pretend you are going camping because once it hits and knocks out your power for days you will be camping out in your own home. :(

Hey Soggy, I'm not that far away from you at all (an hours drive) and that damned hurricane will no doubt be felt at our house too.

This sucks. I miss the semi-normal weather back in the northeast. Don't miss the snow, but right now I'd preferre it to a hurricane.
