|lol|
No, not that one!

JustRobert 2019-08-28 02:10 PM

Watched a Russian series called Better Than Us and it was mediocre. I finished the whole series as it perfect background noise while sorta working and I always want to see how others view the future with AI and robots.

Not sure what's next.

Can anyone tell me if Fargo season 3 is still on Netflix? Thinking of joining just to watch. Thank you.

jollyhumper 2019-09-12 10:28 AM

Isn't Fargo HBO? It is over here.

Its is I believe. But I've also seen Netflix taking credit and whoever is screening it. lol.
Bummed that season 4 is starting up and I havent seen 3 yet.

If you've got Amazon Prime, my son recommends The Boys. A satire on Western society where superheros are real but owned by corporate interests.

JustRobert 2019-09-17 11:09 AM

I watched the series I-Land and that was alright with a different twist on future tech.

Just noticed a new season of Shameless (US version) was in there so I started watching that yesterday!

Greenguy 2019-09-20 07:06 AM

(technically, since I watched these on Prime Video, they're streaming ;))

I watched the latest Transformers movie Bumblebee, which was a lot better than I thought it'd be. The main non-robot character is Hailee Steinfeld & she looked very familiar, so I looked her up & she was the girl in the Coen brothers' True Grit remake, and if you saw that, you know she was REALLY good in it.

Then The Bitch & I finally watched Spider-Man: Far From Home, which was good but not great.

***REMINDER***

Part 2 of Disenchantment is out on Netflix - Enjoy!

Thanks for that as I did not know |shake|

Finished Shameless which I really do enjoy and it's sad Emmy Rossum is leaving the show.

I then watched The Dark Crystal movie from 1982 as a refresh since Netflix has a series based on this which I've been sorta watching but mostly listening to as I work.

Greenguy 2019-10-04 06:23 AM

Just a reminder that Season 5 of Peaky Blinders is out on Netflix |thumb

ArtWilliams 2019-10-04 07:42 AM

I'm watching a show that I used to watch as a kid. It's a British series from 1969 called UFO. There were only 26 episodes made. It was the first live action series done by the same people who brought you the Thunderbirds and Space 1999. It's streamable on Amazon Prime but you can also find it on Youtube.

For those that may not know Big Mouth new season is available.
They are claiming the Valentines Special as the first episode of Season 3 but added 10 more to it. So episode 2 (the first one of the new ones) had me |lol|

Fonz 2019-10-12 09:08 AM

Just watched El Camino. Jesse Pinkmand sure became one badass mofo.

Greenguy 2019-10-22 09:05 AM

Over the weekend, The Bitch & I watched:

Living With Yourself starring Paul Rudd. It was decent enough & should have a 2nd season |thumb

Unbelievable, which is a Limited Series based on a true story of Colorado cops catching a serial rapist in 2011. It was really good |thumb|thumb

I also really need The Bitch to go back to work so I can have the TV to myself & watch S5 of Peaky Blinders :D

JustRobert 2019-10-22 12:57 PM

Living With Yourself and Peaky Blinders new season is in my queue :D

Finished Big Mouth and it makes me |lol|

Finished the new season of Insatiable which is quirky and more background noise then watching.

JustRobert 2019-10-22 07:59 PM

Finished Living With Yourself (only 8 half hour episodes) while doing some work on my laptop. I liked it and remember:
Like Grandma always says, When life gives you lemons...try anal |lol|

JustRobert 2019-10-26 11:16 AM

Finished the new and looks like last season of Glitch

New BoJack Horsemen season has been added |banana|

Greenguy 2019-10-27 07:37 AM

1st I watched the 1st 2 episodes from S5 of Peaky Blinders, which is |thumb but then The Bitch came home, so...

Has anyone else (other than maybe Ramster & Art) watched Schitt's Creek? It's a CBC* sitcom in it's 5th season starring Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Daniel Levy (his son) & Chris Elliott. The Bitch & I started watching it last week & we're near the end of S2. S1 was great, but S2 had me literally LOL'ing to the point of tears a couple of times. I can not recommended it enough to my fellow Americans |thumb |thumb

*To my American friends: If you didn't know already, what you can say & do on Canadian broadcast television is MUCH different than down here.

Finished S5 of Peaky Blinders and while I wish it had a little more Tom Hardy 😍 it might be their best season yet |thumb |thumb

JustRobert 2019-10-29 11:24 AM

Finished BoJack yesterday and it was good but not as good as past seasons.

Time to move on to Peaky Blinders.

JustRobert 2019-10-30 11:35 AM

Binged all of Peaky Blinders yesterday and it was good |thumb

Not sure what to watch next but my queue is full so I'll find something

The Coding episode of Explained was a nice 20 minute reminder that after doing this for 23+ years, I still know nothing |facepalm|

Then, fire this up:

On another note, with Apple & Disney & HBO & my wife's cousin's brother-in-law's cat |cat coming out with a streaming service, who's trying out 1+ of the new ones?

Disney is a given for me with Marvel & Star Wars. HBO might be a given as well because rich or poor, I've had it* since 1982.

*I don't mean Horrible Body Odor, although...

JustRobert 2019-10-31 11:50 AM

Shitts Creek is in my queue and I don't need a tv show to tell me i'm still a newbie almost 20 years later |pokefun|JR

As for the other stream services, I don't have enough time to watch the stuff on Netflix so I'm not going to sign up with the others being put out there.
