Finished Bojack which I really like and decided to watch The Haunting of Hill House and that has been pretty good thou I'm just a couple episodes into it.

Greenguy 2018-10-23 09:58 AM

I made the mistake of starting Arrested Development & there's 83 fucking episodes in there |facepalm|

I have a few series in my queue like that. Since I don't want to get stuck for that long they just sit there as I keep watching smaller episode series or those I've seen that have new seasons added.

JustRobert 2018-10-26 10:42 AM

Finished The Haunting of Hill House and it was good until the ending, at least for me, but not bad overall.

Not sure what I'm starting next as there is quite a few waiting.

JustRobert 2018-10-29 10:56 AM

Started the new season of Daredevil, about 5 episodes in, and I find this season to be really good so far.

Greenguy 2018-10-29 02:37 PM

FUCK! I forgot that came out |facepalm|

JustRobert 2018-11-05 10:28 AM

I mentioned it in the morning thread a couple days back but I finished the last season of Daredevil and I think it might of been their best.

Also watched the Rocco documentary and it was interesting.

Just added House of Cards final season to the queue but not sure what I'm watching next as there is a long list to choose from.

Yes, Mr. Siffredi

JustRobert 2018-11-10 09:06 AM

I watched the series Hot Girls Wanted: Turned On and found this quite interesting as it deals with our biz stuff.

Also we watched the new Netflix movie Outlaw King last night and it was good:

I can see you think that but I liked the character build/background story stuff sometimes more than all the fighting sequences as to me those get overdone and I start singing Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting :D

I haven't watched the series yet, mostly because of this:
My Review Of The Doc "Hot Girls Wanted" (Posted 2015-06-10)
But |bow| Ramster has me doing work for the company they follow around, so now I have to go back & rewatch the 1st one & then the series.

I hate to be "that guy" but the books were SO MUCH BETTER! That being said, the 1st season was decent. The 2nd season was a fucking trainwreck.

JustRobert 2018-11-27 08:52 AM

Just finished the new season of Frontier. It had been a while since the last season so I'm glad I watched the last episode of the second season before starting the third to remind myself.

Also watched The Ballad of Buster Scruggs which I found entertaining though I did wish there was more Buster in it.

Greenguy 2018-12-15 08:39 AM

Yesterday I watched The Innocent Man and I probably would have been blown away by this had I not seen Making A Murderer. It's very much worth watching, but it's basically the same story X's 2.

Next I stumbled upon The American Meme which was a really good look into social media stars Paris Hilton, Josh Ostrovsky, Brittany Furlan, and Kirill Bichutsky and showed just how out of touch I am, seeing as I only knew who Paris Hilton was |pokefun||greenguy| Kirill Bichutsky struck a nerve with me because, out of everyone they showed, I know I'd want to "be" him on the surface, but I also know I'd be exactly like him behind the scenes.

Then I needed a|lol| so I watched Jim Jefferies: This Is Me Now, Bert Kreischer: Secret Time, and Ricky Gervais: Humanity. Each one was was great & all 3 had me crying with laughter, but there was one part of a story that Jim Jefferies told about a private gig he did at Mariah Carey's husband's birthday party that may have been the funniest fucking thing I have ever heard. I'm cracking up just thinking about it.

If my stomach acts up again today, I may watch Season 3 of F Is For Family

JustRobert 2018-12-15 10:47 AM

I just added American Meme thou I do not need a show to tell me out of touch I have become.

Added F Is For Family because I forgot new episodes were released.

As for recently watched shows I finished the new season of The Last Kingdom which I really like thou I wished they did not release until after the new season of Vikings on TV.

We also watched The Christmas Chronicles and Yes it was your typical cheesy holiday movie but then again that's what I liked about it :)

This is gonna eat up a lot of time |facepalm|

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch

From Wiki:
Quote:

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch (also referred to simply as Bandersnatch) is a 2018 interactive film in the science fiction anthology series Black Mirror. Written by series creator Charlie Brooker and directed by David Slade, Netflix released it on 28 December 2018 as the first standalone film in the series.

...

Bandersnatch is presented as an interactive film. A brief tutorial, specific to the device being streamed on, explains to the viewer how to make choices. They have ten seconds to make choices, or a default decision is made. Once a playthrough ends, the viewer is given an option of going back and making a different choice. The average viewing is 90 minutes, though the quickest path ends after 40 minutes. There is 150 minutes of unique footage divided into 250 segments. IGN reports that according to Netflix, there are five "main" endings, with variants within each ending. When the viewer reaches such an ending, the interactive film gives the player to redo a last critical choice as to be able to explore these endings. In some case, the viewer can reach the same segment in multiple different ways, but be given different choices based on the way they reached the segment. In other cases, certain loops guide viewers to a specific narrative regardless of the choices they make

Watched Elf (2003).
I'm not sure it was worth the bandwith it ate.
Way to little Zooey Deschanel and also way to little Peter Dinklage. |lol|

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either.

Another thing, I will never consider living on Manhattan.
If Godzilla wakes up, he trashes Manhattan, if the world is about to end, Ground Zero is Manhattan, if Santa's sleigh won't fly, Manhattan have to sing Christmas Carols.

Frontier is nice BTW.

I was gonna see if The Bitch would watch it with me today, but then you had to stop by and |violin| me!

I like stupid funny comedy so I am re-watching Third Rock From The Sun (which is NOT on Netflix Canada). I am viewing it on Tubi a free competitor. What neat about it is that, like Seinfeld, they transferred all the original film from 35mm to 1080p so the show is now in HD.

On NetFlix Canada, my wife is watching an Australian drama series called Wanted and a show called The Good Cop. The Good Cop has Josh Groban and Tony Danza. She said it's not great but perfectly fine. Take those recommendations for what you will.

I finally watched/tried this last night & I went into it thinking I'd base my decisions on what I'd personally do and it started out fine. Then it kept rewinding (for lack of a better word) and making me choose between things I already chose against, meaning they asked A or B and I took A, then they asked C or D and I took C, then they asked B or D, so I was kinda forced to pick a path I didn't want to & *that started to annoy me. Then the "Netflix" thing came into play & I thought that was fucking BRILLIANT! Then there were 2 or 3 times I was given a choice between a rewind or credits, so I took the rewind & each time was great. By the end (which was truly awesome) I was just "OMG! THIS IS AMAZING!" and I can't wait to watch/try it again knowing what I know from the 1st go-thru.

*I think you're referring to this part & if so, then I completely understand what you're saying, but I think if you go back twice, one time keeping the author of the Bandersnatch book he was reading/using in mind, and the other keeping the PAC thing in mind, you're going to have 2 very different experiences from your 1st go-thru.
