Question about Miami hotels

I saw that Pussy Cash is buying a $400 hotel rooms for webmasters. What kind of room is that? I ask because I have lived a lot in hotels in my life and always rented the best ones. That price is equal to suite in Finland with living room, sauna and bedroom. Well, not quite, but almost.

Some years ago you could hire a captain's cabin in that price from Finland to Sweden. I did it once. It was luxurious trip, free champagne in fridge, your own maid, and they even opened a sauna in a middle of the night because we wanted.

Any pictures of those $400 rooms?

I think that room is $130 or so a night, so 3 nights would be around $400. It's their standard room, but it is rather nice :)

I'm paying $200 a night but they said that we would need to sleep standing up and we would have to put $1 bills in the A/C each hour if we wanted to use it.

I didn't thought that, of course you are there more than one night. I was just curious what kind of room you can have from Miami at $400 per night.

I have always hated small hotel rooms and preffered suites. I need space. And I'm ready to pay for it. As an example, every time we have been in Thailand we have found a hotel that have nice suites. We don't use travel agencies, we use net to put up our travels. You can order flights, hotels and even net connection from net, lol! I don't like flying, BTW. I'm old fashioned and I would love to go to USA by ship. Hopefully no Titanic effect, thought, as I can't swim... I also love trains, and one thing I'm going to do is to travel in Oriental Express - hopefully without any murder...

The room is a $200 room per night in the westin diplomat (where the show is in).

this is the regular room, and if you will try to get one now, you will find out that there are none, not even for $400 per night :)

$130 a night? Dream on! LOL It's $130 plus some luxury fee of like $15 that everyone is charged so their advertised rate is a lie!!! hehehehe

For 4 nights it works out to about $700 with all fees.

Most hotels have very high published rates but it's kind of like list price on a sofa. No one ever pays the list price and no one really expects you to. A $400 a night hotel probably goes for around $150 or less on the weekends.

If you want rooms for under $200 a night at the Westin get on the waiting list. They will call you just like they called me about an hour ago :)

I have 2 rooms booked for the contest winners & they are $130 + $15 per night, so that's where the $400 come into play :)

Now, the suites on the other hand, well, I'll have pictures of a $400 a night suite when we get back :D
