Would there be a call for it?

I was thinking about opening up a website that would host a lot of adult website forums on it, basically one huge message board with lots of little boards for any adult site that would like one.

Do you think there would be much call for such a website? My thinking was it would be free to join, but there would be a banner ad on your forum, or you can pay x amount a year to have no banner ad?

If it worked I think it would be cool, because it would mean the less techie webmasters who want a forum could have a free one, but I just don't know how many webmasters would actually use one!

Not a bad idea, but forums are pretty cheap...tons of free bb script, hosting is cheap, setup is very simple too.... so if you really have the traffic to support a forum with activity and regular posts I would personally go for my own version and not risking sharing my members info with others.

One thing already done though is chats where you share the db with others, if you don't have enough members/surfers to make your own chat active, so if you can think of something that would give an initiative like that to the site owners it might be something.

Yeah, I completely agree, and as that is my stance on forums as well this is the main reason why I am firing this question out onto the public domain instead of just making something and hoping for traffic/takers!

So you here on our webmaster board asking for opinions on starting your webmaster board?

When I was working for adpayout.com we were running boards but after a while we didn't take attention and a member was reporting that a nazi retard started to abuse other members and after taking a quick look we closed the whole thing.
Conclusion for me was i you can not afford to spend some time moderating your board(s) you better don't start any.

Haha no no, hosting boards for other sites for their members/visitors to use!

Not for one second would I pretend to have the experience to set up a board to rival this, I also have no want to as here already exists and I see no way of improving upon it!
