Greenguy's Board - Friday October 20th (aka Another Loooooong Day)

I told the ASSIL to call me yesterday when he was going to start painting his shed & I'd come over & give him a hand, but the phone never rang...and I wasn't about to call him |crazy| so I pretty much grunted all day for |bow| Ramster.
(I don't know what I can & can't say, but Ramster has 1 big project underway & 1 HUGE potential project on the horizon)

The Bitch got some unexpected good news yesterday. I disgruntled former co-worker called the New York State Dept Of Labor on her company a couple months ago & they came in to investigate. The original complaint was unfounded, but I guess they look into everything once they've been called. The Bitch & her co-workers manually put their hours on a timesheet. But if they get stuck on a call or something & work 10-15 minutes past the time they put on the sheet, they usually just forget about it. Well, NYS compared their timesheets with the hours that the computer logs & told the company that they owe everyone for these little chunks of OT. The Bitch has been there for 3 years or so & she accumulated about 50 hours of unclaimed OT over that time! So, she brought home a very nice check yesterday |thumb

It's my mom's birthday. We had told her that we'd pay for her dinner at last Sunday's birthday party for my stepdaughter, but she backed out at the last minute. Of course, it dawned on me this morning that I have no gift for her |banghead| so it looks like I'll be running to Rite Aid for a card & some scratch offs at 9 :D

So, other than that, I'll be grunting away & hoping the phone doesn't ring |couch|
