TGPX Is What's Causing My System To Crash

I just fucking can't anymore |facepalm|

Well, after my PC just crashed AGAIN this morning, I now know what I'm doing to trigger it: I go to the Search Galleries page in TGPX |banghead|

And it's not like I'm doing a massive search in there - it happens when I go to the default Search Galleries page where it loads the 1st 20 galleries in the database. It doesn't crash all the time, but it does stall/freeze for a couple seconds anytime I search the database. So far it has only crashed in Chrome, but it does stall/freeze in FireFox, too, so I don't think it's a browser issue.

I had a feeling this was what I was doing each time it crashed, but this morning's blue screen confirmed it |pcsucks|

This PC is 4+ years old, so I'm kinda due for a new one anyway. I think I'm just gonna make sure all my shit is on one of the external HDs & go buy a new laptop & monitor from Best Buy. I'm just not looking forward to setting up the new machine & that includes cleaning the mess that is my desk :D

So it's a RAM issue then, I guess. |huh

Have I mentioned that I have really good computer in Barstow....?

I do have 12GB of RAM in that one (currently on The Bitch's laptop) and it's not like that's a memory intensive task. Hell, anyone that's ever used TGPX on a regular basis probably clicked that link to search the galleries 20x's a day.

Picked up the new PC. Old one is at 65% backed up for what I know I need (gonna back up the whole thing before Yell takes it). Just realized that organizing my desk for the transition is gonna be a nightmare |facepalm|

Or use LapLink. It is a bit pricey at about $60, but tt saved me hours and hours of work transferring files from one computer to another. In essence, it does an image of everything on your old computer and securely transfers it to the new one. I had some issues with email and passwords but all in all, I would do it again. I also used it when setting up the husbandäs new computer. No need to organize...
