4th August 2014, and the lights go out across Europe.
It is now, almost to the minute as I post, the 100th anniversary of Britain entering what would eventually be known as the First World War.

Lights are on and no wars in south Florida this morning.
Actually up early to see about getting some part time work seeing as the adult biz money has gotten so bad. :( Other than that just my usual day. |
Good morning.
Working for most of the day but it will be a short day and week with the wife and daughter here in Austin visiting until next Monday. |
Good Morning :)
No wars here in SoCal besides fighting the humidity the past couple of days. Wife and I saw Once the musical over the weekend which was brilliant. Actually didn't want to go as I new nothing about this play and was pleasantly surprised. |
Good morning world |waves|
Rain storms yesterday and more expected today. A whole lot of lightning and thundering last night. It's funny that with all those years of evolution, a cat who sees the lightning still jumps at the thunder which has followed that lightning for all those years. Playing catch up today with things that didn't get done due to lost power and net over the weekend. Then the rest of the week will be tying together some pieces of a new project for someone. Wishing a good week to all. :) @ ecchi - I'm sure you have lots of bad memories of WWI, but if you ever want to talk about it some time ... :D |

And I guess you are still trying to forget the Civil War. |couch| |
Interesting article on the IBTimes site (Sorry, no link) that Britons are still paying for the cost of WW1. A "secret group" of banks are still making a killing each year.
