Sunday February 24th (aka Hurricane Blizzard)

Morning! |hurricane

All week, they've been calling for winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 75 mph for today. Yesterday they threw in 3 to 6 inches of snow. While we won't technically be defined as a Hurricane because those require sustained winds of 75mph, we should get gusts that high. When it does get cold enough to snow, it will become our 2nd Blizzard of the year (snow & 35mph winds). So, I re-registered HurricaneBlizzard.com that I had back in 2014, and I will post updates on there simply to cause panic :D Anytime there's a big windstorm (with or without snow) they close a portion of Rt 5 called The Skyway because it's right on the lake & pretty high, so driving on it is a fucking nightmare (I know). What I don't think they've ever done is announce that it'll be closed the day before the storm. I don't think it's because it's going to be the worst storm ever, instead I think the pussification of America calls for us to be way over protective.

I have no plans to leave the house, but The Bitch is supposed to go to Yell's granddaughter's 2nd birthday party |party2 I'll drive in any type of weather (Yell's the same way & our theory is that driving drunk in snowstorms during our teens & early 20s have prepared us for anything), but The Bitch...a leaf blows by the car and she's all |scared| so if she goes, I might be dropping her off & picking her up.

So there you have it: a preview of my next 24 hours |facepalm|

Same here. I enjoy driving in the snow, and enjoy the fact that most motorists stay home and out of my fucking way. As everyone knows, they are absolute pussies down here. In December, when we got 10 inches (of snow, not cock) I passed a pickup truck that was crawling along and the idiot beeped at me. I considered brake checking him/her, but decided to control my road rage and speed along my merry way.

It's supposed to get up to 67 degrees today, but it's still quite gray out there. Annoying, right?

I finally decided, okay Google, I'll take your silly exam to become a part time search engine evaulator/rater. They give you a PDF to read and state that the first part of the exam is based on the info therein. Here's the thing. the PDF is ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SIX FUCKING PAGES. What. The. Unholy. Fuck?

Good Day :)

Up later than normal due to server issues and then my internal clock woke me up so I did the work I was suppose to last night and then crawled right back into bed. Still tired so I think I'm going to take another nap.

Tonight we're going to an Oscar party so I have to put on a suit as it's a dress up party. Should be fun or at least I hope so. This starts in just a few hours so I don't see much else going on today.

Enjoy what's left of your Sunday!

That HAS to be the purpose. I read the first three pages after the lengthy table of contents, then scrolled the entirety of the document hoping for scores of images. Nope. Cocksuckers. |banghead|

I might be mistaken, but I think Cleo took & passed the test years ago.

My problem is that all the knowledge necessary to qualify really should be paid training. I did some research and discovered that Google (via Appen, Leapforce, etc.) requires raters to do a lot of tasks off the clock. There was time when you could be a rater full time, but they put an end to that a few years. Thanks, Obama!
