I'm relaunching http://www.filthyearl.com/ as a no-recip automatic link list.

Here's the rule: submit anything except FHGs or HFSs. That doesn't mean you can't submit free sites built with FHGs for the galleries. It only means that I'd prefer not to see someone submitting sponsor hosted promos directly, because that's what I'll be doing.

The description character length is set at 40. This is 40 characters: This is my funny little description. Tits!

It uses a basic tagging system. It's self-explanatory once you see it. Only one tag is needed, btw.

Absolutely no reciprocal link is required, so I wouldn't suggest wasting your time adding one to Filthy Earl. No, you do not have to submit clean sites/pages. This is not temporary recip-free period. As long as submissions are open, you will not need a reciprocal link. I know it sounds stupid, but try and accept the fact that I know what I'm doing - sort of.

As soon as you click submit, your submission will be listed on the index and the category of your choosing AUTOMATICALLY. There is no review lag. If you fuck me by submitting something illegal or FHGs, I'll ban you and delete your links. That's about it.

You can submit free sites, galleries, blogs, AVS sites, or "other." Other can be hubs, miscellaneous pages, whatever.

You do need to create a partner account, but it's almost instantaneous. It's the only way I can avoid becoming a link dump filled with nasty shit. http://www.filthyearl.com/webmaster/signup.php All you need is a username, password, and email address. When you click "continue" you'll be automatically sent a verification email. Click the link in that email and you'll be all set to flood Earl with fresh, new links.

So, have fun, tell me if you find any bugs, or if you have any suggestions. Better yet, tell someone else. I'm kind of busy.

*Ignore the rules currently found under Help and Support. They're from another one of my other link lists. I'm too lazy to deal with that right now.

Looks like Filthy Earl is running pretty smoothly. I've added Public Exhibitionism, Fem Domme, and Lez Domme as categories. I could probably use a toon category, but I never know what to call it.

Could you add some sub categories for gay niche, such as gay asian, gay black, gay latino, twinks, older men, bears, muscle etc?

Honestly, it's doubtful. But tags are an excellent way to create your own subcategories on-the-fly. Simply tag the appropriate items as gay-asian, gay-black, or whatever.

Since the relaunch, 26 submitters have created accounts and approximately 160 links have been added. So it's not as if it has been flooded with submissions. If I had done this 2 or 3 years ago, back before we convinced a lot of submitters to quit, there would have been too many submissions and the links would have sat on the front page for about 5 seconds before getting knocked off. As long as it doesn't get abused by someone posting bad stuff, I don't see the need for a daily limit in the near future.

I enjoy looking at it now and then without being my normal overly-critical self; not caring about misspellings, incorrect categories, etc. I think it's a pretty decent site from a surfer's point-of-view. It's clean, the link titles are HUGE, the category navigation is in a predictable spot, and the few ads are unobtrusive.

When I find the time, I intend on doing the same thing, or something very similar, on a couple of other domains. Though the others will probably be niche-targeted rather than a general link list.

Keep on adding links and I'll keep on... well, doing nothing. |thumb

I'd like to remind people to use the tag suggestion tool below the description field. It's the button cleverly labeled "Tag Suggestions." Get this: it will suggest tags based upon your description. If it doesn't suggest any, then your description is probably shit. This doesn't mean that you must use the suggestions, but they are often better than some of the nonsense people produce themselves. Also, why submit something to the big tits category, and then tag it "bigtits?" We get it - she has big tits. Be creative. You're boring me.

How long has Web 2.0 been around? You've heard of tags, right? Some of these submitters I've never heard of before are just plain stupid.

Some people know their niches and know which keywords they want to target (and have linked to their pages), and they'll use those words rather than what the tag suggestion tool suggests. That's cool. But keep in mind, no way will the "tits" tag page on Filthy Earl ever compete or have value in the SEs, so no way will it ever send you a single real hit.

The sign-up page has been removed. Not taking any new submitters for now. I'm tired of explaining the basics of tagging to people who can't read simple instructions on a shitty, little link list that asks nothing more than for you to read a few minor suggestions. But here's one more time: If you are submitting to the Latina category, one of your tags shouldn't be "latina." "Latina-babe," "sexy-latina," "latina-teen," or something slightly more descriptive using the word Latina would be fine.

Don't even get me started about the blogger who had three submission accounts because he didn't want to confuse his niches. What? Of course, that blogger was one of the people who doesn't know fuck-all about tagging. If I ever put the sign-up page back up, I'll make sure I add 10 more identical fucking Latina categories so he can submit to all of them. |catfight|
