Tuesday May 16th - The Big Game Day
 

Yep, I know it is meaningless to most, but tonight in the IIHF World Championships, Finland and Canada meet. It's part of the spring ritual in these parts. Ice hockey isn't just the national sport here - it is deep in the blood. Our boys are not playing that well, and I fully expect the pros on the Canadian team to wipe their butts tonight. It will still be a great game.

I've caught a nasty cold, so I am just a bit on the froggy side right now. Hopefully, I will be awake to catch this game. The winner goes on to the gold/silver round, the loser dukes it out for the bronze.

Still time to get some work done... if my fool nose will stop running!

My right hand is no longer plastered, what a strange feeling it is. So now it's all about training it up to work properly again.

The only hockey that matters to me was Ramster's Sens losing to Pittsburgh last night |banana| I need Pittsburgh & Nashville to both make the finals ($800) or both lose ($500) for a pool I'm in. If one makes it & the other doesn't I got nothing :(

Aside from working & picking up the ASSIL, my buddy is having concrete brought over today to fix our back patio that sunk over the years after we had a new one put in about 10 years ago.
