LotzaDollar$ spamming?

Was anyone else spammed with their "newsletter"?

First I thought that I might have signed up for them, not that I have any memory of that, but it happens that I signup to a buch of programs at once and then just forget about them. But when I tried to retreive my password they said that my email address doesn't excist in their database. So that pretty much means they spammed me.

Bastard, I get enough spam so I don't need anymore from "affiliate programs". |angry|

They do have more than one service (LotzaTraffic is one that I know of for sure) So it might be they have your email address in another of their databases.

OR

You signed up to them thru CCBill before they put up the new admin & you're not registered for this version.

Hmm, maybe..

Never heard of Lotza anything before I got the spam though, have they changed name recently?

We don't spam! And yes Lotzadollars has gone through a couple of name changes in the last few years as it went from promoting just one site to several. You may have also received the newsletter if you signed up with another program that has recently partnered with us. (we are getting more and more amateur sites that are also using CCBill to partner with us. This adds to the sites our affiliates can promote) I will try to work on a way to filter better. I can see how it can be confusing because you are not gonna know who lotzadollars is. We don't want to email ya if you don't use our program. And yes we also have the 21 Toplists and Lotzatraffic, but we don't send them our affiliate newsletter, they get a "Lotzatraffic" newsletter ever so often. about once a month. Aso the unsubscribe button at the bottom really works. its not a trick to see if you are a real person.

Spooky, I got the lotazatraffic emails(multiple), and I didnt ask for it.. so it just got added to my delete filters.

Wether it's spamming or not is always going to be open for discussion.. but I never asked for it.and I will be fucked if I am going to go "unsubscribe".. when I never "subscribed" in the first place

People should think about the fact that every-fricking-goddamn-site "adds" you to their mailing list these days.. and mostly its just spammy crap.. 90% of which I and others just plain delete.. So it's is a waste of time on both ends. :(

[added]
..and that includes the content site I bought from for the first time on Sat, and the pricks added me to thir list the next day.. Now I wont ever do biz with them again

I hate spam... I get those newsletters sometimes, but i dont really consider those spam because it's from the affilaite program and sometimes they've got usefull info.

It IS spam and I know this as I get it to my ISP email address, which I NEVER use for adult business. Maybe you want to rethink your "We don't spam!" story again.

I've never signed up for the program, and received 2 copies of the newsletter.

I'm not trying to take sides on this, but you're saying that, since you have never given out your ISP email address to anyone, that they pretty much just guessed it?

No, I get other porn spam for paysites at that email address. Some people blanket spam and hit every possible combo on ISPs. It happens day in and day out. That one stood out as I've been getting it regular for a while now.
