Woke up early to the sound of someone going through our recycling to retrieve bottles for the deposit money.

Been working on a marketing document for customers -- "how your website could be improved" thing. Going to lunch with some buddies and then on to yoga with a friend tonight.

Ah... our second day of being below 0F. I woke up to -18C. I think I like the C number better because it more reflects just how cold it is. Yeah, I know this is nothing compared to the harsh winters of Buffalo. We are not usually this cold this early or suddenly so things are breaking that shouldn't like railway lines. Not to worry. Hubby will be up soon to make a nice fire and we do have wood inside. Just lots and lots of additions to make to the network. Thankfully, there is more than enough to keep me well entertained and inside.

Ahh yes, the weather in Buffalo. Here's what the Weather Readers said on Tuesday:
Wed 1:00 PM to Fri 1:00 AM - 18-24" of snow with 50 MPH wind gusts
Well, we got the wind, but I can still see my grass! I swear, they inflate the numbers they predict so that if they're wrong & we only get a foot of snow, they can say we "dodged a bullet!" Because if they forecast 10-12" & we get 18-24", well, they'd look pretty fucking dumb!

Due to the forecasted Hurricane Blizzard (forgot I still owned that lol) The Bitch is working from home again today, which is kinda nice since we get to sit & eat dinner at 5 when she's home.

Gonna run to the store for bread & milk before the shit starts to fly, because that's what people stock up on when it snows, right?

Good Morning :)

The rain didn't come yesterday but it is here today so that's good as we need it. When we were up north we passed the San Luis Reservoir which is higher than it has been in years so that's a good sign thou it is still very low compared to what it was 10 years ago.

Just doing some biz work today like I did all day yesterday and that's about it. May need to find something new, pick from the long queue, to binge on while doing some of the work.

It's chilly here with a temp of 69˚F this morning.

I've got a really odd Asian girl house guest. First she shows up many hours early yesterday. Then she sets off the alarm last night due to user error. Then I come home and she didn't turn on the alarm when she left so I'm a bit annoyed and planned on giving her another alarm lesson but so far she has not returned since yesterday. I think she may be a hooker or a stripper or both. Wondering if she is in jail or something. I get paid no matter what. She checks out Saturday if she ever returns.

Other than that just a day of work and errands planned.

Spending the last two days packing down the remaining stuff at my x-wife's apartment, I've just been completely worn out today.
Been seeing a lot of documentaries on YouTube (P.Floyd and other things I have interest in)

But feeling optimistic. Life is good. I guess

Hospital appointment today. Got to learn about the fun surgery coming my way in a few weeks.

Bloody cold here too, but only just below freezing and no snow. Am told it will get worse over the next few days.
