Tis the season! Tax season, that is! I have to send out ONE 1099 which means I have to drop $15-20 on a package of forms seeing as the blank 1099 forms the IRS has online are NOT scannable, therefore NOT acceptable by the IRS (read the 1st page of that link for more info) Mind boggling |crazy|

Plus, 1099's were to be sent out by yesterday |banghead|

So, other than the tax crap, just updating LOR & Chubby Links. Kinda put Anal Sex Fest on the back burner until Just Robert & I get Porn Luv & Get Porn Links back up & running on TGPX. Didn't know you can run multiple domains off TGPX (Thanks Pagan!) so odds are I'll incorporate Anal Sex Fest into that.

Oh joy, almost tax time. I always seem to end up owing which just makes it that more painful.

Running out of places to submit galleries and sites to. So on the hunt for more places that accept straight, gay, and tranny stuff.

Spent over a third of the year in hospital, about another third visiting doctors/hospital, and made little money in the remaining six months. So I probably don't actually owe any tax this year. Suppose that is one consolation from going steadily broke!

I finally made a wordpress theme. The posts work, but I am using a page as the static front page. www.webcamsexlist.com

I am going to sign up for a udemy course on making wordpress themes and try to get more creative.

I want to make one for my mainstream blog bestsurvivalistgear.

Bought some expired domains .... and the previous owners are complaining ... Waiting for a good offer from them for a quick buck.

Just added a new feature to my Video Link Checker plugin to tell if any YouTube videos on your site are blocked in specified target regions for copyright violations, uploader preferences, etc. Led to some interesting results.

I have been working on a simple script for ClitPass for weeks. Three lines
refused to execute, whatever I tried. In the end I copied an identical bit of code from another program that runs (successfully) on the website. All I had to change was the names of the rows in the database. Still nothing. So I went on fighting with it and puzzling over it. I have spent weeks on this.

Today I decided the best way to find the error was to make a copy of the working script, rename it, change the database name and row names to the ones I was working on and run it. It worked. Then, bit by bit, I deleted the bits I did not need from the old script and tested it after each delete, working on the theory that when it failed to work, the bit I had just deleted was the bit that was making it work.

It never failed!

So now I have two totally IDENTICAL scripts, where one works and the other does not. And I mean IDENTICAL, not only have I compared them character by character, but while trying to make the first work, I copy and pasted from the working script, and while making the working script do the same as the faulty script, I copy and pasted from the faulty script. They are fucking identical, yet one works and the other does not.

The pissy annoying thing is that I have wasted weeks on this. Not only has this delayed ClitPass' submit form, it has put me behind on other jobs too. I am so fucking angry.

Serious thinking of getting out of adult if sales don't improve in the next four months. :(

Odd, but I have had pretty good sales this last two months. In checking my spnnsor stats, it seems I am starting to get good traffic from Germany now. This is a time period where I have been getting away from text only, and much more into thumbnails. That might have something to do with it. The sponsors that can break down the info have pointed to galleries linked only by thumbs (with no description). As a test, I am now starting to add in some foreign language galleries, but only if the underlying paysite has an English language version. Yes, they will be labeled under the thumbs.

Still, kind of strange for me to be making more sales in Euros than Dollars.

Sales for me have been slowly declining for some years now. Now the only thing that seems to be selling is Foxy's stuff and a tiny bit of gay. I'm making way more doing my other stuff, AirBnB, Uber, mainstream design jobs, plus marketing A/C services. I can get good hosting for my nonadult stuff for under $120 a year vs $250 a month for a server to host galleries and whatnot. At some point I have to ask myself is the return on hosting worth hours put in doing it.

I do really miss the days of working a few hours a day and pulling in six figures. Now I'm working my ass of to make half decent money.

If you ditch posting galleries you can get good adult hosting for a lot less than that. So why not just do the bits of adult that still make money (Foxy's stuff and a tiny bit of gay), move to cheaper hosting, and dump the loss leaders?

Foxy's stuff and gay stuff needs galleries posted in order to make sales.

Today I got Goddady business hosting for my mainstream stuff. It's all in Wordpress and Wordpress has been running painfully slow over on colo. Over the next few weeks moving all my mainstream stuff over there. Still not sure what I'll end up doing with my adult stuff. If I stop posting galleries and free sites I'm guessing my traffic will slowly die down to very little.

I finally left Mojo/Colo about two months ago. They messed up some of my stuff when they transferred it off of Colo's servers, and I never could quite get past that. Chris had had me on a wonderfully inexpensive plan, but, as you now, Colo was never the same after he sold it. I have everything on a VPS now. Obviously, I don't require the amount of resources you do. Foxy must have a ton of content after all these years.

It's around 800 gigs these days and she is still doing updates.

Ok, now I'm feeling picked on.

I'm sorry I came back, then went away, then came back, then.....

I spent the entire month of February sick :(
