Monday November 6th (aka I Can't Fucking Win)

Morning! |waves|

It was very windy & rained a lot here yesterday. When we got home from doing the Xmas crafts, I noticed 5 or 6 big pieces of siding flapping in the breeze on The Pool House |banghead| I took down the broken/snapped pieces, nailed up the other ones, and called my friend that does siding to come & fix up the rest. Later, as I'm sitting in my office, I look up at the fireplace & the top half of the bricks on one side are soaked. So I crawl up in the attic & see that there's water getting in on each side of the chimney where it meets the roof |banghead| Gonna get a couple cans of that "As Seen On TV" Flex Seal stuff today & spray the fuck out of where the roof meets the chimney on the roof today. Then, The Bitch is walking thru the fireplace room downstairs & sees a puddle on the floor near the window. She immediately said "That better be piss!" since the dogs will take a leak in there from time to time. It wasn't piss |banghead| There's water getting in along the foundation (I think) so I'm gonna Flex Seal the shit out of that today, too.

Other than that, my life is just fucking peachy!

Working now, but I have to pick up the ASSIL from work, run him to pick up a script, then to 2 doctor appts. I'll be lucky to be home by dinner.

G'day!

It's starting to get chilly now, so winter is probably approaching.
Slept for 12 hours last night, which is rare. I probably needed it.

Started watching the new Star Trek on Netflix. It's promising, so I'll keep watching. I know Rainn Wilson will appear, eventually, and I'm looking forward to that.

Now it's working a few hours and then to dive into my home-studio

Have a great day!

J:)lly

Sorry to hear that Greenie! Hope it works.

Jolly, my wife likes Star Trek but says this version is very dark.

Monday is my catch up / do what I feel like day. Just doing some odds and ends this morning then it's off to band practice. Later it's dinner and some local theater.

Have a good one. |thumb

Is that the one with Seth MacFarlane? I think he's hysterical, but I don't see that carrying over to a Star Trek spinoff....

Good Morning :)

Had a nice weekend after my wife's illness last week and we also celebrated 22 years yesterday. Since our son wanted to come over we held off going to D-land but we did watch the Hateful 8.

Today we are just about ready to head out to the park to walk around and enjoy the nice 70F weather after a weekend with some rain.

Enjoy your Monday!

It's really dark, yes.
But so was Star Trek: TOS too.

I've watched 4 episodes now and I think it's very good. I'll stick to it.

No, I don't think so. I haven't seen him and couldn't find him in the cast on IMDB either

Star Trek: Discovery, another prequel.
Not shown on CBS broadcast TV. Available streaming on CBS All Access, via subscription. Apparently available via Netfix as well, but still via subscription. I don't need to see it badly enough to justify another subscription.

Happy Monday :)

Been up and working as usual. Pretty excited about the trade my team did yesterday to acquire Matt Duchene |thumb

Love Star Trek Discovery. Binge watched this past weekend in between slipping out to a street festival for drinks and bad foods for me to eat. Its been a loud 3 days.

Back at the grindstone.

Anyone see Ecchi lately? Is he ok?

ArtWilliams 2017-11-06 04:24 PM

That's The Orville with Seth MacFarlene. I like it a lot. It's like the old Star Trek with the odd gag thrown in.

He was banned here and I don't know where he hangs out online now.

Likewise in Canada. You either need to subscribe to the Space channel on cable or have a subscription to Bell's CraveTV. My wife is a real fan so you sprung for the CraveTV for 6 months.

I sent him an email months ago with no reply and his site hasn't been updated in a long time. That's all I know

Unfortunately, yes, I did have to ban him from the board. You can read most of it in this thread (start with post #32)

Thanks, Jolly. No big deal. He used to make me laugh sometimes.
