John Wick 4: Will You See It?
 

Big fan of the series. Plan to see it here on Friday.

Very sad to see that Lance Reddick has passed this past week. as well.
They've dedicated the film to him. Have loved his performances since The Wire.

I like the movies, but odds are I'll wait til it's on streaming for free.

I rarely get to the theater anymore and if we do it usually involves our grandson.

Also rarely do theaters unless I'm traveling. My wife is not big on going to movies and most certainly wouldn't go see John Wick lol. When I used to spend a month away from home during Covid I would go to a movie, good way to kill a night. I will watch it when it's comes out for streaming |thumb

News: Pushed back to Sep 9 here. Mongo sad.

But got a ticket to "Everything, Everywhere All At Once" instead.

If you visit Japan. Go and watch a movie if you can. The silence from the audience will blow your mind. Like watching a movie at home, alone. Very polite audiences.

I saw the first one, but haven't seen any more of them. Worth it?
I'm wondering if they are as good as the first one.

The Banshees of Irinishin was pretty good. I liked it. Totally different kind of movie though, I know.

On John Wick, they just get bigger and bigger, budget, locations, fighting scenes. Some are very impressive. Especially when knives are involved.

The reviews for 4 have been spectacular with crits making claims it could be the best action film ever. Bold claim.

I like his character. Not sure why.

What are some of your favorite movies?

I watch mostly comedies though in the pandemic I did watch more drama and action movies. Watching John Wick is actually a good idea. I think I'll check them out. My favourite movies?
