Anyway, 2 of my 3 jobs are keeping me busy these days. |bow| Ramster still throws me work & at the new job, we decided to load up a couple sites with future updates - something like 80 total scenes. Kinda time consuming now, but it'll be nice later to have everything on autopilot.

And the update for one of the sites was shot yesterday. Shooting wrapped around 4PM ET. Scene is supposed to go live at Midnight tonight. 32 hours from shoot to site, which we've done 2x's before, but since I'm the last one in the line, odds are I'll be staying up late tonight. I blogged about it (legit inbound links are good for SEO) Restaurants & bars are closed anyway :D

Yeah, not much going on here either. It's going up to 12C today so I'll go for a walk. Still working on a mainstream problem that's driving me crazy. >:(

Have a good one! |thumb

Good Morning :)

Finally got around to setting up the new laptop. Everything seemed perfect and then it needed to update and now the lighted keyboards lights stopped working. Honestly I don't care as I would of turned them off cause I find them annoying but....kinda pissed me off.

Anyhoo with most errands out of the way I may get to taxes today or push it off until tomorrow, not sure yet.

Enjoy your Thursday!

Translated a long article about the bushfires in Australia, a year ago.
I knew it was tough, but man they had a wild ride.

Have you heard me cussing and swearing lately? My vision is giving me fits again. It is actually perfectly normal if you have astigmatism and go through cataract surgery. The eyes change as they heal. I see better, but I see double, and it gets very very tiring. I keep brushing it off. Last night, I was stitching on fabric I always use, and I could not see the holes - with my magnifying lenses or without glasses. So.. the earliest appointment I can get with the surgeon is December 21st. It will be short spurts of work until I get new glasses. At least it is something I expected. I am just not ready for this much of a change this soon.

So your cataract surgery gives you problems?
I have no idea what astigmatism is, but I have also some shit with my vision. It goes blurry and the glasses are perfect, except when they aren't. Which are when my eyes go in and out of a blurry thingy.
I have a feeling my eyes would give various "scores" if I where to take tests repeatedly over days. WHich would be way to costly.
And when I try to explain this to my eye-doctor, he just says I'm fine.

Could you explain a bit more?

Anyway, take care!

Sounds tough Pagan. I hope your doctor can help. |pray|

Astigmatism is actually a pretty common condition. The eye doesn't focus light evenly on the retina. Sometimes it is because the eyeball isn't perfectly shaped, or the cornea isn't curved just right. Mine has been treated since I was a kid with glasses and I have just had to have the lenses changed every few years. They do warn that the cataract surgery can make the astimatism worse, so this is actually expected. The glasses I wear now were prescribed about 5 weeks post-op, and that is likely way too soon for the eye to heal. I'm not stressing over it, but I have gone back to shorter stints at the computer which is what seems to bother me more.

Jolly, I would see a different eye doctor for a 2nd opinion. It could well be the sign of something starting, or just plain fatigue. There may be eye drops that can be prescribed to help when it happens. Of course, it wouldn't happen if you weren't looking at so much porn......
