Monday, September 18th - not Dancing in the Rain
G'day |horse|
My keyboard is fucked. |banghead| It isn't that old either. So I have to go into my storage room and dig out a different one. Sounds easier than it is ... |lol| I'm going to make an interview, the first of several over the coming weeks, now. I'm a bit down atm, but I guess I'll fire up as soon as I've started Have a great day |JollyHumper| |
I think my funk will be here for a while. Days are already getting shorter, which means the darkness of winter will soon be here. Normal for me about this time of year. Sunny today, but we had our first frost this morning. I think Summer is over. They did keep the MIL, finally admitting her for treatment. She has some sort of infection so they are going to do IV antibiotics. She will probably be there for a couple of days. The Husband is taking his dad up to see her today and deliver needed supplies like her phone charger and something to read. The Cat is sleeping, so I must get my fingers back to work.

Not sure if it's a funk or a sickness, but something is going on with me :( I think I may go back to bed... |
Good Morning :)
First thing: F1 qualifying and the race were both pretty exciting over the weekend. My wife's makeup birthday trip down to Julian, CA was actually kinda of fun except for the near 3 hour drive each way. The apple farm was kinda fun and the fresh cider was delicious. We then ate at a diner that's been open nearly 100 years which was good and the apple pie was delicious. Walked off all the food around there quaint little town followed by going to the Star Party. This was actually cooler than I thought it would be. It also helped that my son tagged along and I got him to drive the 3 hours back. Anyhoo, back to normal stuff today and I'll get outside to do some yard work. Other than that it's mostly a bunch of biz stuff. Enjoy your Monday! |
I always loved trips to Julian. Special place for me. It's actually one of the few things I miss. We have apple trees, but we don't have Julian.
