Spring my ass! In just a few hours today, we have had bright sunshine, clouds, hail, sunshine, clouds, hail, sunshine, dark clouds and now sleet changing over to snow. At least the weather isn't boring. Yesterday, Helsinki had thunderstorms.

Built 8 more galleries today, so I think I am getting back into a groove here.

Hope Greenie had great weather for his garage sale!

Saturday, according to the bible, is the real day of rest. So how come I've been working since about 5:30 this morning? And I'll be working all day tomorrow too, the Christian Blasphemers' day of rest.

Oh, and I had the landlord round earlier, complaining that the rent was late again. Well if he would stop complaining and bloody well let me work, perhaps I'd have some money to give him!

(But I don't recommend that he hold his breath until then.)

And most lists are not getting any .. yet. You've heard of shakedown cruises, right? Well, this is my shakedown cruise. The biggest reason I am building right now is my network needs the galleries, and not all of my sponsors offer hosted FHGs. In some cases, I must build my own. I actually like building. almost more so than the submission process.

Until after we get moved and settled into our own house, I doubt I will be submitting very many places. Most won't take these anyway -- 5 minute video clip plus 12 to 15 screenshots. I like the mixed galleries myself because it gives the visitors the choice.

Sorry, nothing to be scared of. I am still just getting my feet wet again, and trying to get into the build every day habit.

That I can understand, when I used to do free sites I hated submitting. When I built the submit form for ClickPass I built a special one for myself, as easy as possible to submit. And I only post about five to ten (sponsors free hosted) galleries a day, but that small amount I hate. Worst part of the working day. Looking forward to the time when I get enough posts each day that I don't have to dump sponsor's FHGs on it myself.

That surprises me. I thought my rules were a bit tough (thinking of relaxing the video rules a bit), but that is well within my minimum, so I would have assumed it was well within most sites rules.

My daily goals (especially right now while I am in a "restocking" phase) is more between 30 and 50 a day in different categories. Why so many? I try to think of the visitors. They can easily go through 5 to 10 in minutes, or what if those new galleries are not in categories they want?

I never used to use sponsor galleries and then started adding them back in 2014. My thinking is that we are providing a taste of what waits at the paysite and any gallery should be a teaser. The visitors don't always care if you spend your time building - they just want that free porn. Then there is the variety thing. If we are all submitting to each other, then there is little difference in our sites.

As to the rules, it is more that 5 minute clip plus the pictures. There are not that many viable link lists out there any more for one, and for two... that mixed gallery is what holds many back. I do accept them as well. Still, we shall see how it goes.
