On the top left, pick a category from the Browse By Category dropdown menu.
Then on the top/middle of that category page, select another category from the Filter By dropdown menu.

They don't let you pick more than 2, but if your sneaky (like I am) you can do it (and link to it) by adding &categoryId=XXX where XXX is their category number:

I could use it, but that'd basically be TGPX with Models & one downside (aside from that multiple categories thing) is that you can't schedule future updates. Like I said, if I'm gonna move 15,000 links/galleries to a new admin, I'm gonna do it right :)

Im guessing that LinkAdmin lacks those things. How hard would be to add this to LinkAdmin ?

LinkAdmin has none of the bells & whistles I want lol. As for how hard it'd be to add my wishlist stuff to it, I have no idea |huh

Probably easier than to TGPX or as much the same effort.

I honestly can't think of anything that LinkAdmin does that TGPX doesn't do, plus I want some of the things TGPX does that LinkAdmin doesn't do (thumbs, scheduling, internal tagging, etc.) so while it's not perfect, it's the 1 alternative I have right now.

I'm gonna go out & contact some TGPs to see what admins they use & go from there.

Riley Reid + Anal + Lesbian

3 - Sub Categories:

LOR currently has 5 sub categories on each page:
Pay
Tube
Free
Blogs
Other

I'd like for each sub category to have different thumb sizes.

4 - Template Driven With Variables:

I do all this by hand, but basically every category page on LOR is based off this template, so I'd want the ability to easily define variables, where each category has different text for xKEYWORDUPPERx & xKEYWORDLOWERx and any other thing I come up with. Meaning I'd be able to set the Big Natural Boobs category to have:
xKEYWORDUPPERx = Big Natural Boobs
xKEYWORDLOWERx = big natural boobs
(these can't be the same & controlled by css because of Asian, Latina, etc. are always capitalized)

5 - The Basics Of TGPX:

Crop pics for thumbs (No need for the gallery scanner feature where it finds the images since I'm used to that not working on NATS URLs & doing it by hand)
Import from a spreadsheet
Schedule dates for adding & deleting
Accept submits (but I get so few I could do this by hand)
Auto-build Page 2, 3, 4, etc. once a category hits a limit
Title, Description, and # pics/vids for galleries

I basically want to combine TGPX with parts of ElevatedX :)

I did a couple of Google searches, but that was all paysite CMS's & adding TGP to the searches resulted in some weird mainstream stuff |huh

Does this admin/script exist? Any suggestions?

Points #1 #2 and #3 i can solve for you right now but totally diferrent and !better!. YOU don't need to search in multiple categories. You just need more gallery link types. GALLERY TYPES: paysite;tube;regular;friend;blog;whatever etc etc. Then the rest is easy. Whole structure will be about the same but different calls on category and search pages. GG if you still interested in TGPX without upgrading to mysqli or pdo then let me know. Ill do it for you.

New db column table ( model_name ) needs to be created and input added to user submit and every admin gallery add/edit page. Then you can change search.php script to point out only to search in this table. While searching for model_name you have your model page with results if any. Worth mentioning that you can add later any variables to any search results like model details at any page portion.

2.i need to do some testing on your tgpx install. We know tgpx is able to search in one category for now. But im very optimistic about searching in two cats or more.

3. You dont need subcategories. We will use gallery types for every category. Its easier and faster.

Then searching within the cats will be easier because on search page you can see 'search term' paysites galleries blogs etc separately.

I was looking again at the TGPX version I grabbed from github and it appears that some of it has been changed over to PDO at some point.

I hit the mysql issues during the install. When I scanned the entire code set I found 178 occurrences of mysql_ (The start of most mysql functions) so I figured it all was mysql but apparently I was mistaken.

That makes it a bit harder to mod out, in my opinion.

Edited in: Ok, I had that wrong. They have a MYSQL class that someone created. They wrapped the class aroound MYSQl. So, it looks like PDO but it isn't PDO it is still the mysql libs under neath.

Confused me when just glancing through trying to get an idea of the scope involved in modernizing it.

Well over a year after starting to use TGPX, I knew I'd have some free time while waiting in the car for the ASSIL to get done with an appointment, so I thought why not print out & actually read how this thing works, because WHY would I have read it BEFORE I started to use it?! In the {galleries} section of the TGP Page Templates page - admin/docs/templates-tgp.html - I saw this:

Cool, that is pretty much standard search syntax used by SEs and such. Good deal.

So, now you just have to let you users know that they can use the + and - operators.

That, as well as the following for ALL* existing listings:
- redo categories (ex: Amateur Lesbians will now go into Amateurs and Lesbians)
- figure out if they're pics, vids, or mixed
- assign models (if known)
- make a thumbnail preview
...and there's probably more.
