Tuesday May 8th (aka This Move Will Destroy Me)

Yesterday I posted:
The odds turned out to be "not a chance in hell" |banghead| There's a Verizon box in the house & when I did the move via the website, it said the house was set up, but when I went to hook up the router to the box, I see that it's a Verizon box with 1 line coming in from outside & 1 cord to plug it in. There's no coaxial port, no Ethernet port, no old school phone port, nothing! So they're coming today to hook everything up & I can't wait to ask the guy what this thing is supposed to do |facepalm|

Also, one pane of the sliding glass door was shattered at the walk-thru, so they're having that replaced today. I think all this is right after I pick up the ASSIL.

While typing this, my shitty cable internet went down for about 10 min |facepalm| It's starting out to be a great fucking day! :D

A regular day here. I have to take the dog in for grooming at 10am. I think. They usually call to confirm but didn't so I might have put the wrong day down.

Work wise, I am trying to finish my son's business site. Part of it requires him to give me pics which he hasn't done. Will be working on setting up my adult site too. That's it.

Working as usual, doing content updates, etc. Plan to take off late afternoon and enjoy the weather. It's the wife's day off and sunny and warm so likely a patio around 4 or so for a drink and some food.

It's a really beautiful day, warm and sunny and my first walk in t-shirt is just finished.

Been at my ex-wife's house (she's moving) and picked up the last stuff I'll get from our marriage, I'm constantly surprised how unpleasant a person can become. Only 'wrong' thing I did was to get mentally ill for a while. Wouldn't exactly say I chose that...

I'm a huge Masterchef Australia fan, they just started s10 and I'm watching it on second monitor while working, via VPN.
I just discovered a lot of errors on my server, so my two last days have been almost anything but actual work. |club|
But the support is great, so I'm not really complaining, just loving the emoticons |lol|

Good Morning :)

Surprising cool day after with overcast weather at the moment.

Does not matter because I'm trying to set things up as we are going to take a 4 day weekend to go visit family. This will be the first time since the whole cancer stuff started so my wife is really looking forward to it. Personally I'd rather stay home and work but I promised this to her soooo away I go.
