I've been working for some hours already, but now I have to do some house-stuff. After lunch my |dog and I are getting picked up by GF, we're staying at her place this weekend.

The Americans in the crowd may not have heard of it but I got two doses of the Astrazeneca COVID vaccine. So anyone in Ontario who did is advised to get a mRNA vaccine booster. I will be doing that this morning. Later, I've got some running around to do and then I'll be back at my desk for the afternoon.

The FDA is asking tyhe Fed gov to push ROIA request answer re: Pfizer trials and testing procedures to 2076. That's comforting.

Working now, tomorrow have English conversation classes for a handful of students, Sunday maybe a visit to a sex shop.

Just FYI, Edge browser on Windows 10 is blocking all the ADs here by default. No wonder my sales are off.

Art, I think that booster recommendation is pretty much global just to be on the safe side. We had Pfizer here, but not until the end of August. No boosters for us until late February.

I have a sinking feeling we are heading back into lockdowns, mainly because about 20% of the adults here refuse to vaccinate (including healthcare workers!). Kids under 12 are also the big spreaders but are not in the percentages yet because they are not eligible for the vaccines. They have been letting the restaurants and bars stay open if they check COVID passports, but too many are not bothering so that may well be taken away. They are just stopping short of mandates here, but that is being talked about more and more often. What they are doing is hitting us with logic. One tidbit - each person hospitalized with COVID needs 6 people to care for them, and those without vaccinations are 33 times more likely to end up in the ICUs.

We have a rainy/snowy/rainy/windy weekend here, so I am just going to snuggle in and work... The Husband will be visiting his parents tomorrow and taking his mom for her cataract surgery on Monday. Let the party begin!

Feeling normalish today...but it is early.

Just work planned for today, but I do need to make a bank run...

Better mood around here though it is chilly again, which is kinda nice but stops me from working outside in the morning which is when I want to do it. I have a hard time dragging my ass out there after lunch for some reason.

Gotta pick up food and supplies so a grocery store and Home Depot run needs to happen this morning and then it's the typical biz/tv/nap.
