Freesite Navigation

Sometime ago I read that it was best not to have the gallery pages linking to each other. The link should be back to the main page with the idea that the ads on the main page get in front of the surfer more often.

Seems to make sense, and that's what I've been doing.

Concur?

I figure my surfers know how to use a back button. The idea of a freesite is to trap the surfer the further into the site he goes without leaks.

I don't add navigation past the main page.

My first galley has a link back to the main age and my second gallery has a link to my hub via a FPA.

Agree with balls deep, I also only use navigation on my index and main page, and not on the galleries.

Btw. I removed the exit link on the mainpage as well some time ago, couldn't really see the reason for it, and haven't had any rejections because of that.

I used to link back to the index/warning page via a copyright link, but other than that, I let the only links on the gallery pages be outgoing to the sponsor.

I have never put internal nav links on the gallery pages - don't really see the purpose.

But then again, I'd be lost without my mouse that has the back buttons.

Im with the majority as well. No links between pages on the galleries..the more my sponsor ads are in their face the better

Thanks all...I think I'll lose the link on gallery pages.

I put link back to main page on my galleries because if gallery page gets listed in search engine at least I have another shot at showing a surfer another ad instead of just going back to search engine.
