Morning! |waves|

The Bills game yesterday was both fantastic & depressing. Tailgating was fun as we |cheers| and ate steaks. Then we went inside & I think I mentioned that the tix my stepdaughter got us were in the same club/section that we had our season tix in until 2008. The club was completely different, which was fine other than it seemed very dark (the walls were painted black for some reason). We started to go to our seats & the National Anthem started, so I knelt (kidding) so we were standing at the top of the section & it started to hit me that this used to be our life, but so much has changed...I pretty much lost it |cry| We sat in our seats for the 1st Quarter, then went inside to watch the game on one of the many TVs. We left about 1/2 way thru the 4th Quarter. I was also really emotional about Kyle Williams retiring after 13 years with the team (he's been one of my favorite players since his 1st season) |cry| |pokefun||greenguy|

BTW: Had this been the 1st time I was in the club, I'd have still started to |cry| after I spent $10 on a 12oz can of beer for myself & $14 on a vodka & tea for The Bitch |scared|

I'm not really hungover today, which is kinda nice :) Yell's niece invited us over for New Years tonight, but not sure if we're gonna go or just chill out at home & watch Anderson Cooper on CNN spread Fake News that the year has changed from 2018 to 2019.

Until then, work & a trip to visit mom :)

G'day

Just picked up my new shoulder-bag, which ofcourse was delivered to the wrong post-office. It will be weird to retire my previous bag, I've been using it for maybe 18 years or so.

Been working a lot today, starting to get into rythm again.
My friend has made his choice for several days to come, but I'm invited to a new years party elsewhere, I guess me and my |dog goes home way before midnight.

Wish you all a great New Years Eve and a happy new year

Good morning |waves|

No cry-babies here :D Just working away as usual |thumb I did have a friend over yesterday to have a few mellow beers and watch the first football games then he stayed and watched the 2nd round of games too. The games were Very good. Dallas Giants game didn't mean anything but my friend is a huge Dallas fan and the game was great. Then the Browns Ravens game was good too! And the Steelers at the same time, come back to win! Too bad the Browns didn't win.

Oh, I did have 11 empty beer bottles on the counter when my friend left and my wife said, there's a lot of empties, I guess Derek drank some of your beers? I said yup, he had 1 |lol|

Good morning. |coffee

I too was watching NFL football yesterday. As my tinnitus moderates, I can do stuff so I was putting items on eBay and watching some games. First Buffalo / Miami and later Indianapolis / Tennessee.

We can't see a single movie that interests us so we're staying in and doing dinner and a movie with friends tonight.

Three Democratic just announced they are running for President. The election is 674 days away --- and so it begins!

Have a good one! |thumb

Good afternoon,

Now that I ruined Greenies movie evening (see netflix thread) I feel kinda bad. |shake|

Anyway today all the kids around here do the trick or treat thing. Going door to door, singing a song and getting their pockets stuffed with money and candy. This year my gilrfriend took the kids out, too bad because parents get beer and schnapps on numerous locations and she doesn't drink. I stayed home to hand out candy.

New Year's eve dinner party with some friends starts in
2,5 hours.

Have a good day all!

ps. Damn sometimes I miss this place….

How cool! We used to do that as kids, usually the third day (27).
Hardly any kid does that anymore, after Halloween came into play in Norway. |catfight||huh|club||angry||violin||banghead|

Good Morning :)

Dealing with family but I did see an old fort that once protected the California coast I've never seen before so that was alright. I think today is just hanging out with them so I may squeeze in a bunch of work while my wife deals with it all until dinner, drinks and New Year ball drop.

Enjoy your New Years Eve!

Yep, they do that here in this part of Finland too. Nuutinpäivä - St. Knut's Day. We don't observe that until January 13th. The Husband said he used to dress up Halloween costume style and go door to door demanding treats. He said there were rude people that gave out apples and raisins, but not candy too. Some parts of the country, the young men dress like goats, but not here.

We have a nice windy, snowy evening here but it has been raining all day. The Husband just came inside from smoking and reports it is heavy and wet. Our national power outage map looks pretty scary, but nothing close to us is dark - yet. (http://www.sähkökatkokartta.fi/#/kunnat) Looks like I had better try to get stuff done while we have power...
