I know people call it "Amateur Night" but I do miss getting tanked on Thanksgiving Eve & then fighting thru a hangover while being annoyed by family members I see twice a year.

Mom Update: Pneumonia is getting better. Have to talk to her doc & the care coordinator this morning about jumping thru some Medicare hoops to get her into a physical therapy rehab facility. Picking up my niece & maybe my aunt since the weather is |snowman2

I did manage to get updates ready thru Tuesday, which is good because I've already written off tomorrow |cheers|

Just came back from Sweden, me and my buddy are experts in commando-raid shopping. Whole thing was over in 50 minutes.
Then I had everything I needed, including a new leather-jacket.

The Leather-jacket was a gift to myself for staying absolutely sober for 6months!!

Now I'll relax a bit and then this weeks ordinary AA and then finish the reinstall.
Everything got delayed due to some stupid shit yesterday

J:)lly, congrats on the 6 months!

Got house cleaned yesterday and took care of errands which is good since family should be here in a few hours.

Found out about the Beemer, so far it's $1700 to fix the issue the codes kicked out BUT they noticed something else that we are hoping will be fixed with that since no other codes popped. If all goes to plans I will have a couple other things done while it's there. Fingers crossed!

Now it's time to do some work and take a shower before them family members arrive.

Usual day here, figuring out what I can squeeze in today for work to complete while putting other shit off |lol| On my 2nd |coffee so time to grind in and get my ass in gear!

Nope, which is actually a good thing. We're going to Yell's oldest, so before this, she was staying home, my aunt was going to come sit with her & we were going to run them each a plate before we ate. Her doctor agreed today that she does need to go to an in-patient physical therapy rehab (otherwise, they'd have sent her home today & she still can't get up on her own, so we're all fucked). The holiday does kinda fuck her with a couple extra days in the hospital since we have to wait until Midnight tonight (Medicare hoop) to start working on getting her into a rehab, so that'll have to wait til Friday & hopefully they can move her to one Saturday. She does NOT want to go, but I think it sunk in when I told her it was either a couple weeks in rehab & then come home, or go someplace else & never come home.

Hopefully the transition and therapy goes smoothly and she is back home quickly to start annoying you again :D

I realized today that The Bitch & I have been together for 24+ years & have never had more than 2 days where it was just us in the house. Now, when she's at work, I get to leave the door open |flush|
