Monday 27th Of March - And England Catches Up With America

Yesterday Britain put it's clocks back, so it is spring here too now. Just been down to the shops and smelt the first cut grass of spring. So yesterday someone obviously thought "Today is the first day of spring, thank God. Now I can at last mow my lawn."

Weather is nice and sunny too, obviously the sun got into the spring mood. And while I was in the shop I noticed that that the front page of one of the newspapers declared that we are going to have "the hottest ever Easter". WooHoo, I can go from complaining about it being too cold, to complaining about it being too hot!

To be honest I was not sure Yesterday was the first day of spring when I got up. All I had heard was one patient at Dialysis who was late being picked up afterwards to go home, complaining that on top of this, he was going to loose an hour's sleep because the clocks were going back. I was not sure if he was correct, and my little brain could not work out if it was the last Sunday in March, or not (which is when we put the clocks back). And if I had not overheard this I would not have known that the clocks had gone back. Then I realised it did not matter. all my clocks, watches, and other devices with the time set on them, automatically correct for summer/winter time. If I had not known the clocks had gone back all that would have happened would be that my alarm would have got up an hour earlier, all my clocks would show a "different" time, but I would not know it was "different", I would just get on with the day as normal, not knowing there had been a change.

So the future is here. Films like the Matrix, where machines control us but we don't know about it are true. Soon we will stop bothering about summer/winter time because our clocks will adjust for us, and we will loose/gain an hour's sleep, but we will not be aware of the change (we will be asleep). Within a generation or two, our kids won't even bother to learn that it is happening, and a world will go on without anyone knowing that "the machine" buggers with our clocks twice a year.

Judgment Day won't be a war, it will be a slow slide via little things like this.

Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated.

Morning! |waves|

This post won't be as long as ecchi's....|couch|

Spent yesterday mostly down in the pool house. We were surprised at how little we actually had in the pool house until we got into the attic |scared| We stopped only because we already have too much garbage for this week's pickup :(

No running around for me today as they changed the ASSIL's work schedule, so I'll most likely be here working...

That's because you is a lazy bum and Ecchi is a hard working, dedicated man of words. :)

Good morning :)

Worked quite a bit this weekend, all day Saturday and most of yesterday as well which was nice to get caught up and ahead on content updates for a variety of sites. Same thing planned today, work work work, then playing basketball tonight and looking forward to that since it's our playoffs.

Have a good day all |thumb

Mostly trying to get settled in the new apartment.
Also been playing a little bit games (Resident Evil 7) but My workdesk isn't up yet (hopefully tomorrow) and it's a pain being on the computer here in the sofa.

Surprisingly hot for days now. Which means my love have been fetching balls in the water. a lot :)

The time change for us here in Finland was painless. TV adjusts automatically, phones and computers do too. I only had two clocks to move ahead (Ecchi - spring forward, fall back.) We have had a windstorm the last few days but no damage here. We didn't even lose our power. Others in the neighboring "state" did, so we were lucky. Nice warm weather today, but they tell us we are due for a cold snap. It might get back to freezing again. Oh, shudder!! 5 years here, and I still love the weather - all of it.
