Dating Sites To Promote?
 

Not to steal from BNS's thunder but I was hoping to get opinions on dating sites from you guys & gals. Please post any good or bad info, as well as your referral link |shake|

And don't bother mentioning Ashley Madison or Avid Life Media sites/programs - I know all about them from their constant sales calls & emails |angry|

I mean, I know there's only 8 of us in here, but no one promotes dating sites???

I tried, made fuck all money, gave up!

I use what you use (or did use) and they are really starting to suck. Free signups daily but rarely a purchase at all anymore :(

I did alright with AM in the beginning but with no rebills and something that pissed me off (can't remember now) I pulled links. Funny thing was a few months later I was thinking about trying them again because Fling had dropped drastically and when checking stats it was showing I was sending all these hits the whole time all my links were pulled so I can't trust that and never looked at them again.

AFF is the one with free signups. I have days with no one registering followed by days with 3 to 5. So far this years daily average is about 1.5 registrations out of 110 unique. With that I've only had 1 new paid sign up since 4/1 |pokefun|JR |banghead|

I think I remember what it was: words that came out of my mouth! lol I remember being up at Emerald's with you when I found out they were changing their payouts. They used to have a great system where you got $1 for a signup & $5 or something if they did something, and finally $45 if they decided to cheat :D All the little bonus stuff went away & they worded it so that we thought we were getting more money being paid a % instead of the $45, even if the highest you could get was $34.30

They got rid of PayPay webmaster payouts, too (to this day, they claim they are too expensive) At 1st, they offered ACH payments, which was fine because there's no fees on our end. I guess that too got too expensive for them, because they changed to only wires - and we all know how much an incoming wire costs! My problem became (and still is) that my bank is small & local. They do not accept incoming International wires (AM is in Canada) So, that's where Cleo comes in for me & between covering her fees & throwing her a couple bucks for helping me, my $200 payout becomes about $150 in the end.

But before all that, when I 1st started to promote them, they were easily the best dating site I'd ever promoted.

Maybe tomorrow I'll spew out some more |mrhanky| about them & their incompetence. If it ain't broke, revamp the system!

Glad I did not have to deal with all that you are now to get paid.

I think that is when I created my own landing page sending all dating traffic to that page so I can change out which sponsor at any time without having to search down links.

Here something to piss you off. I just saw an interview with the owner of AM and he said that it was a Billion dollar business so they surely can cover the cost of other pay options.

You will get no sympathy from us outside America for that. American banks are technologically well behind the rest of the world (or at least behind Europe) and this, combined with the high level of security hoops non-US banks have to jump through because US banking is less secure that elsewhere, means we pay about 25% of our payouts on bank charges every time we pay in a cheque from a US bank!

Some of our affiliates make up to $100 per 1K uniques on dating traffic. Because it's unusual and they pay inside our dating game like crazy! So welcome, guys!

Not worth the space the banner takes up on the page, IMHO.

i still use aff wl from back in the day....im not sure if you can get a wl with them anymore. maybe they'll make an exception for the gg!

I'm using the Pay Per Lead* option, which is paying me $4.50/lead (far from the $15/lead they boast about on their tour - it's a sliding scale thing based on the number of leads you generate) Stats so far:
10 Days - 1137 Clicks - 5 Leads - $22.50 Total - (almost) $0.02/click
I'm not really pushing it as much as I think I can at this point - just filling in some dead spaces with text ads for now.
* They also have Revshare & Pay Per Sale options

I made the mistake of signing up with them as they had a Japan promotion. Discovered after the traffic hates them with a passion. :(

We've had luck with DateProfits and HugeTraffic for our black/ebony/african sites as well.

I forgot about HugeTraffic - I even have an account there already lol
