Sorry I haven't been around. Saturday afternoon after I worked for a bit, I started to pack up the pool house :( Sunday we decided to say fuck-it to packing & went downtown for the parade. That lead to me taking yesterday off :)

Working now, picking up the ASSIL around noon...

Wow, Tuesday already. Before we know it it will be Wednesday. It's like the days just come right after each other. :D

Going to the gym in a bit and then another fun filled, thrilling day of driving people around for pay.

Yesterday DMV finally gave me my HOV sticker for my car. It only took 5 weeks and 3 trips to the DMV standing in line for a long time each time. Went home and registered my sticker with the 95 Express Hybrid Registration and now all I have to do is once again wait for the paperwork to go through. Just to make it even more fun to drive I have to remember to put my transceiver in a RF Shield Bag when getting in te express lane and then remembering to stick back on the windshield when not driving in the express lane or get hit with a bunch and extra tolls all while driving in crazy traffic on expressways.

I want to win the lottery and become a rich bum...

Had my meeting late yesterday and that went as well as could be. One more that will come tomorrow and then I'm done |thumb

Wife should be booking a flight out for this weekend and then it's the drive back with a couple day stop in Vegas |banana|

Of course when I finally get back home it will be time to put my taxes together so no rest for the wicked, but at least I will be home :D

Not happy with the council. Went down to their offices because I was getting no sense on the 'phone so wanted to speak to someone in person. They don't allow that. They simply sat me down, dialed someone's extension, and let me talk to them on the house 'phone. Did not even get to see them through a sheet of glass, like in prison - I was in the lobby, they were upstairs somewhere. Bloody waste of a day.

And the reason I wanted to see them: They sent me a letter while in hospital, I obviously did not get it until I returned home, but I 'phoned them as soon as I did. This was too late for them, so they are fining me the equivalent of over $600 for replying late. They accept that I had never received the letter, as I was in hospital. But that is no excuse - apparently I am obliged to be psychic, and because I wasn't, I have to pay the fine. Not at all happy, want to kill the lot of them.
