Celebrated my birthday |party2 by working all fucking day. I did take a break to fire up the snowblower* around 5 then had dinner with The Bitch & my stepdaughter, but after that I was back at it. Not sure exactly why I'm awake as I was up til about Midnight grunting |escape|

* This snowstorm we got was/is really weird. It's a really light & fluffy snow & with the wind, it's blowing around a lot. If you look at my shed, there's maybe 2 inches on it, but the deck on the back of my house easily has 18 inches. The weird part is it's not like it's a drift. It's like it snowed a lot in one spot & 30 feet away, it snowed a little.

Mojo msg'd me last night around 9:30 that my sites would be down for an hour or so due to some emergency hardware maintenance. Went down a little after 10 & when I checked around 11:15 I was back up, but apparently all of Mojo was down for a little bit around 1? |huh Shit happens :)

I'd be happy with any 2 of the 4 going to "The Big Game" but it'd be interesting to see a rematch of Week 11's 54-51 victory by the Rams over KC - that was a great fucing game!

Nice and crispy cold here --- -10 C (12 F) at 5:30 pm, so you know it will be a very cold night. The Husband and I both have winter colds, so I am doing the essentials and then spending the rest of the evening by the fire. We have a snowy week ahead of us, with only Friday predicted to be free of new snow.

I was supposed to go to a language class on Friday, but I was way too sick to go, and The Husband was too sick to drive. Saturday, I got a message -- the instructor was too sick to teach! So, I don't have to worry about missing the first night of class because it never happened! Talk about luck. Now i have the rest of the week to get over this before class on Friday and doctor on Monday.

I foresee a day of sweet nothing. I'll probably watch more vids about Thailand on YouTube and nap several times. I have basically given up on the job search out of disgust from none of the many employers I have applied to never contacting me. I am going to let the universe do what it wishes with me. Fuck it. I already have my cardboard sign designed in my mind. "Need money. Not an addict, just really dumb. Please help." |hammer

Good Morning :)

As Greenie mentioned Mojo was down and then supposedly up but down when I needed to do updates. Messaged them and then stayed up watching supercross only for them not come cup before I needed to sleep. Thankfully it's all up and running today.

Actually going to take most of the day off today and tomorrow. Been working a lot of hours and need to get out of my office. Heading out to the park in a few hours and then grandson shows up tomorrow.

G'evening.

Grandson left a few hours ago.
We've had a lot of fun, but I got fever yesterday so it's been good that he's been completely hooked on my VR.
I just tried it for myself for 15 minutes and felt a tiny bit nauseous. So I stopped.
But I think I "survived" for longer this time. I guess I have to adjust to it slowly.

Other than gaming with grandson, nothing really happened this weekend.
