Are there many submitters left?

Out of pure curiosity, are there many people who still build and submit free sites to link lists?

Inquiring minds...

I do about five free sites a week.

My TGP submit list has become ridiculously small. :(

I'm guessing that my LL's submit list is going to become a lot smaller next month after I go through my stats and see who is actually updating and listing me.

I do them but it's hard to find sites that actually lists you. Atm I have a recip-table of sites that do list my submission, trying to find a few more.
Doing this is a nice break from all the blogwork

At this moment I am on a break from submitting other than a paid account and the hun for tgp stuff as I am trying to finish updating all my niche hubs and then redo ETN. After this I will go back to build/submit freesites (and galleries) more normally thou I only submit to a few lists.

I'm thinking of bailing on tgp submitting too. Been tinkering with 'mainstream' but am kind of just floundering.

Find the answer on |greenguy| and PenisBot.

I've switched all my efforts to hosted galleries - I still get three or four regular submitters on my LL (freesites and galleries). Traffic there has been pretty stable over the last two years so I'll keep it up.

LeRoy 2014-04-29 05:43 PM

I should be submitting to LL's but I have been stuck on some other side projects.

Nymph 2014-05-01 07:31 PM

In a weeks time now I'm not getting as many submits as I used to in a single day just a year and a half ago.

So, should I assume it's really not worth the effort to build/maintain/re-create a link list at this day and age?

pc 2014-05-02 01:46 AM

Not only it's not worth but they have absolutely no value these days , I'll tell you a secret that I'm working on a project that will consolidate all my linklist, all listings will be there , it will be self updating and its not a linklist. Because I have almost no time for doing that it'll take few more months to finish. My last attempt to stay in this business with all self-updating software not needing to maintain it everyday. I did some math based on analytics/ads/mysites and I think it will work.

have to find your "niche" in mainstream, mine is installing and customizing prestashop, a shopping cart

I wonder I've been missing this place so long. Just sent you my 1st submission! |jackinthe

I have not submitted in quite some time. I think Google is about to do something drastic. Matt Cutts said that they were going after "porn" next particularly affiliate links and yesterday's video about his regret in not targeting content farms and paid links. I don't know it seems like a potential clusterfuck.

I think you're reading far too much into what he said in that video. A lot of people seem to think that Matt speaks in code, as if he is hinting towards something he's not allowed to say. He doesn't. Google could have de-indexed link lists and TGPs a decade ago when they were warning about the number of links-out per page, yet they didn't. Such sites might not rank very well compared to the new competition, but they still get indexed and still gain PR. I also don't believe that paid links are the same thing as affiliate links. If that was so, Google would have to devalue pages with their own advertising on them.

Anyone know if http://pornoplentyxxxlinks.com/ is gone for good, having a bad week or...?

We still submit and always looking for places to submit / free sites and galleries, exclusive, unique...brand new content from Japan... :)
