The Open House yesterday went really well! We had 3 couples come thru: 1 just started looking; 1 needs an in-law setup, which we have; 1 lives down the road & their daughter is moving back to town. We also found out that the parents of one of my step-daughter's friends is going to be selling their house & it's right around the corner from them & Yell |banana|

Working now, picking up the ASSIL from work at Noon & taking him to a doctor appt, then back home to spend some time with The Bitch, as it's her birthday |party2

I think it was Greenie who talked about the last Star Wars movie recently.
A guy I know is struggling a bit with going alone, so he asked if I could come along with him to see The Last Jedi.
So I said yes and after I've done some work I'll watch the 2 previous ones so I can understand what's going on :). Looking forward to see it!

We were allowed to have snow for 5 days (or so), now it's raining. |angry|

I have been on the road roaming about this shithole country for a few months in my homemade camper. I'm currently at a rendezvous in Arizona, which is a lot like a webmaster convention -- just a bunch of old, ugly, unfit people wandering around, but without the occasional porn star walking by or any interesting conversation. These are some dull bastards.

I picked up a dog at a SPCA in California, so now I have a companion to talk to. She really enjoys watching me piss.

I am enjoying my life on the road, probably too much because I haven't done a moment of work since I began. One of the issues is that I have an old desktop PC that sucks a tremendous amount of juice from my battery bank. That means I can't just leave it running all day like I would like to. I do have a generator I can run as a back up to my solar installation, but I don't want to run it more than I really need to. I really have to invest in a laptop.

Anyway, I need to go wander the desert for awhile with this fucking puppy before she eats more of my clothes.

UW! Glad you are enjoying the roaming bit. Bet you are glad to be out of NY during this winter. When it warms up again you can see even more of this shithole.

Today is drive my wife around day with a doctor appointment and shopping. I am hoping this does not take too long as there is work to be done on the house. Unfortunately what I really need to get done is going to take a few hours so I need a window of opportunity to do it. Have a feeling this will be pushed off till tomorrow as my wife is having a real hard time with the second phase and moves slower than molasses on a cold Connecticut morning.
