G'day |waves|

Not much different here today.

Slept 12 hours and have the feeling of a hangover. But I've been able to work, which is good. |thumb

Our AA group has been a very small group consisting of only a handful long-timers. Although they have said 'welcome' to everyone trying, it has been really hard to feel included. (I know first hand). Lately we have managed to grow the group and also, through democratic votes, made changes to how we shall do things. Hopefully to make even more wanna come.
Yesterday one of the old-timers went ballistic, we 'newcomers' changed things in a way that couldn't be accepted, we don't have money, that will cost, this will cost, and so on.
Me and a friend was basically out of the group at that point.

So, today has been a lot of phone-calls and it seems he was only talking for himself, the other oldtimers welcomes our changes and express worries that we 'new ones' will leave.

Good Morning :)

I am really sore today as I put in nearly a full day outside digging and moving dirt and rock around. I think I will be taking most of the day off from going outside. Probably will still go out and get to the non labor stuff mentioned yesterday.

Until I decide whether or not I'm working outside there is biz stuff to be done and I have a craving for Mexican food :)

Enjoy your Thursday!

My first day with the stone and no pain killers... not liking this so far. I have my lab tests and xrays in 2 weeks, so I am going to try to tough this out. My big fear? If I go back to the doctor, they will just transfer me to the hospital about an hour away. The first time I went there for this, I was "seen" by some guy in a white coat who claimed he was a doctor. He spoke no English, nor would he ask for a staff member who did speak English to assist him (against our laws here). As he left the room after a very cursory exam, he promised pain meds and something for nausea. Over 2 hours later... nothing. No relief. No further diagnostics like a CT scan. We left. I had to go to my local Health Center the next day where they are fantastic. With my luck, I will have the same quack I had the first time. I did file formal complaints with the regional authority along with the national regulatory board and the hospital on that guy.

Sigh... I am so ready for this to pass.... They did tell me it could be a couple of weeks though, so I guess I have nothing to worry about.
