Today is the rescheduled day for my house to be sprayed for ants. I have to be out (with my wife and pets) from 10am until 5pm so I'll be hanging out at a friends place. It's supposed to be 30c and sunny so I will be working on their deck. Dinner and cards with some friends tonight.

Almost got the ethernet cable ran to my office. The |facepalm| problem? My office is above the garage, which has a dropdown ceiling, so I move the section & find the cable line, which is where I'm going with the ethernet cable. It goes up thru some drywall, so I cut out a section & find plywood, which must be the floor of my office, right? I pull the cable down thru & start to drill to make the hole wide enough for both cables. Well, the battery on my drill took a shit about 3 inches in. I've determined that the existing hole was drilled thru the floor of my office, missing the beams/joists, but hitting a 2x4 that's on top of 2 layers of plywood before the final layer of drywall. I'm not even going to get into the previous owners/tenants hanging stuff in the closet using those plastic drywall anchors with nails in them instead of screws |facepalm|

Yell's been having really bad back problems on top of everything else in his life. Looks like a bulging disk that's causing his legs to be week & very numb, so it's nice to be around the corner from him f he needs help.

My stepdaughter bought us a grill as a house warming present. My 1st thought was that I have to put this fucking thing together |facepalm|

OH! We're closing on the 30th |banana|

We have stink beetles this year. Last year it was box elders. I figure with my luck, next year it'll be locusts :D

Or frogs :P

Got most of my accounts updated with my new address yesterday, but didn't manage to avoid lifting and moving heavy boxes. My back really needs a break.

|coffee and ibuprofen will have to do for now.

Going to do a bunch of work today split up between movies. Since we're not going anywhere this holiday weekend a decision was made to watch a movie at lunch time and dinner time. We watched "A Futile and Stupid Gesture" last night that's about one of the founders of National Lampoon |thumb

So much faster at this new place, since it's fiber to the building, I haven't even tried plugging in an RJ-45, even with jacks on almost every wall.

Upload is so much faster. Usually, I start uploading a set of galleries, then open another browser to do something else while it uploads at less than 2mb/sec. Now it's practically done before I load the page into the browser to "kill time". 25mb/sec upload rocks! |banana||bananna||banana||bananna|

50.5 Mbps down, 18.9 Mbps up |banana|

That's not a face palm. It's a dancing banana!
