Anybody else having strangely slow DNS nameserver change propagation with godaddy last two days?
Okay, I will admit it, I have been doing a lot of straight (non-adult) websites to make money these days.
So, I was trying to set up two new nonadult names on my once-colo, now-mojo server. I started one of the nameserver updates at godaddy yesterday - still not propagating, about 30 hours later. The other I started earlier today, still in limbo. I have gotten used to godaddy propagation taking a couple hours at most, so this is peculiar. I do not get the nameserver change notice emails until 8-10plus hours after the form submission, either, and they are usually close to immediate. Right now I have actually pointed one of the names, the first, back to godaddy defaults to see if there is something wrong with good old ns1.colo-cation.com. Anybody hear anything about dos or dns dos attacks? |
I use 'Hover' for my mainstream domains and it propagates quickly

I once had my main domain use months to propagate completely, don't know if it had anything to do with godaddy though.
Was a pain in the ass uploading the same stuff to both servers all the time so it would be viewable to every surfer.. :) |
