Friday October 6th (aka Care About What You Share)

Morning! |waves|

When you share something on Social Media - especially an image that has text info on it - do you research it 1st or just blindly share it as truth? I ask because I have a good friend on FB that just blindly shares stuff that I thought was a little "off". A couple Google searches later, I found that one image was doctored/edited & had 2 very important blocks of text left off. The other had 8 facts, 3 of which were easily proven to be untrue. It just boggles my mind how you can share something you haven't even looked into just because it fits your agenda...

Anyway, Sabres lost :( Not that I saw much of the game |zzzzzzzzz

I did spend 3 hours watching The Postman on HBO. Kevin Costner sure did put out some LOOOOOOONG movies!

Just work planned for today...

Afternoon |spook

Totally agree, social media is pretty bad as a truth-holder.
People just want to push their agenda.

Been a very long day, was up way early to walk my dog since I've been in Oslo the whole day. Just returned.
It's a splendid autumn day and tomorrow is supposed to be just as fine.
Hopefully we will secure our advancement in a match tomorrow too!

I'll just try to put in some work now and then relax

Have a great day

Generally speaking, if there is no link to a credible resource with the original post it is probably misleading to at least some degree.

Way way way too many post stuff without even checking to see if it has a grain of truth to it. They will also sit there and aggressively defend the crap they just posted. Some of the stuff posted is downright dangerous, like coughing if you are having a heart attack.

My mother-in-law has a birthday tomorrow, so I am in the middle of making her cake and dinner... on our 6th wedding anniversary. Cake is baked, but I am not sure if it is going to be good yet. I get a short break while the cake cools, then I have to start cooking dinner. I am already so tired... been up for about 6 hours cooking and cleaning. (Don't burn chili in the pot you need to make the mac and cheese!!)

Work? That will be the treat for me this evening - after they are gone and we have taken a nap.
