Damn Yankees 2018.10.03

Good morning. |coffee

Just stopped by to check the morning thread and saw that no one had started it so here it is.

I've been working as an extra the last couple of days so I am tired. The days are often not eventful but long.

The MLB NL wild card game happens tonight. I hope LA wins but whoever can beat the Boston Red Sox is good enough. Oh yeah, I heard there is something going on with hockey too!

I think I need to pick up my emoji game. Greenie has really raised the bar.

Have a great day! |thumb

Good Morning :)

Remembered to stop by here this morning so that's a good start. Since I need to do a quick turn around trip tomorrow I guess I'll be working on biz stuff to set up things in advance. I really need to get back to working on the backyard so hopefully that will happen when I return, again.

Enjoy your Wednesday!

Evening |catfight|

A day of no energy, been sleeping alot.

But I’ve also been working and also took a long stroll with my |dog

Now it’s soon the weekly AA which does me good, apparently.
I’m often struck over how good it is to have that shit left behind, and when a fellow AA-dude brings cake to celebrate 25 years since |cheers| ,
It tells me it is possible s|thumb

After that it will be some guitar and music-work

Enjoy your day!

Afternoon! |waves|

I couldn't sleep last night so I started adding all my domains to Google Search Console after I got an email that they added one I had in Analytics & saw that I had started added them some time ago, so I plugged the rest in there. I finally went to bed around 7, woke back up at 9 and my day has been |facepalm| after |facepalm| after |facepalm|

Example #1: There's a hold on one of the bank accounts. I can see the dollar amount on their website, but that's it. Try the app & nothing. Call the local branch & they too can see it, they can tell me when the hold went into place & when it will be released, but not what it's for. Call the main office & nothing. How fucking hard is it for a bank to inform it's customers where their money is?!

Example #2: Picked up a guy in one of my my hockey leagues. The season starts tonight, but the website won't let me put him in because the league runs Monday to Sunday, but my lineup isn't locked - I can move other guys around. Turns out the Yahoo never changed their fantasy hockey site to have the season start today & not yesterday.

The one good thing that's happened today is the electric company came & swapped out my meter, so I'm living off the sun 😎♻️💡

This is possible as long as you want it and work it. My best friend became an alcoholic/chemical dependant at 15. After interventions and being sent off to detox and a halfway house he became sober at 17. He celebrated 37 years this year and still works his meetings 3 to 5 days a week with the occasional 7 days due to serious issues with his daughter.

Stay strong!

Thanks for your words.

Yea, I’ve started to realize the importance and know first hand why I won’t stop attending anymore |scared|
It’s not that hard to accept the gOD-thing either, it’s there and it helps a lot of my fellow AA-buddies.

Jolly
