Maybe the reason is 2257. It`s not mean that he is chetaer.

Removing pics from free sites and leaving up the index pages is bad form, maybe not intentional cheating but way enough to get you blacklisted. It means our surfers find shit when they click on our links and it looks bad on our sites. If you have to take content down due to 2257 then ffs replace it or take the whole free site down.

I don`t agree with you! Maybe he has folder with images which is not complaint with 2257, and he delted that folder. Maybe he forgot to remove his fs. It is not reason for blacklisting, he didn`t redirect traffic or something else. When you blacklist someone you must be 100% sure that he or she is cheater in other case you destroy someones hard work.

must? |bow|

That all depends IMO. If it's a few sites, ok maybe. If it's every site he has, 10+ then it is not cool.

The only thing a list owner must do is it ensure that their listings are clean. I can't fathom how someone could delete an image directory without realizing that the images must be linked from somewhere. I also don't see where running away from 2257 gives anyone the right or permission to break the rules.

Is it me, or do there seem to be a lot of low post counts defending cheaters lately?

Make the connection.

Doh!!!

Its yours right of course. I said my opinion and boards, I think, exist for that. My point was, is that a reason for blacklisting or just for deleting.

I don`t post to much because I haven`t a lot of free time. I have and two more daily jobs.

When I 404'ed pages because of 2257, I used a blank 404 saying go back to the linklist / tgp you came from. I didn't even include a link back to my homepage.

Just because you had to deal with 2257 shit doesn't mean you have to make it more difficult on tgp / ll owners...it's not their fault and if you're staying in the business you probably screwed a good business relationship by being cute with how you handled 2257.
