Xmas Eve was busy, but nice. Visited my mom for a little bit & then did dinner & gifts with the girls & watched Christmas Vacation. OH! It snowed, too |snowman2

Going to break my mom out around Noon then over to Yell's for the rest of the day.

Like Greenie my Xmas eve was very busy but a huge success with everyone fed well and stories from the past filled with lots of laughter.

Doing a little work right now as a day without work is a wasted day!

Family shows up in a few hours for unwrapping celebrations.

I've managed these last days better than expected and my urge to do something stupid isn't that big anymore.

I love living in Finland. Christmas Peace was declared at noon on Christmas Eve - a 700 year old tradition. Shops began closing about that same time. We went to dinner at the in-laws, and i was amazed at how many places were closed up tight already (noon on Christmas eve!) People here do the big holiday on the 24tn with family time on the 25th, and visiting on the 26th. We don't go nuts on the after Christmas sales. I love the quiet sanity of it all.

I actually got some work done updating not just galleries, but actual code. I am going back for a second dose now... This is like a regular day, only quieter.
